The Floette had just wanted to dance around this one Trainer's garden, but it seemed that fate had other plans. The Trainer had offered them a covenant, if they stuck with him, they could stay at the garden all they wanted so long as they didn't accidentally slice off the vines on the plants anymore. The Trainer had been keeping tabs on the Floette's dancing, helping to teach it where was too close that it would be dangerous to the plants. As the Floette had no intentions of damaging that which it loved, it paid heed to these instructions carefully. A bond formed over time with this, and the Floette was happy to oblige when its new Trainer asked it a boon.

Floette was thrilled to find out though, that this boon involved, in what orders it did understand, was tending to flowers. Why did the Trainer make such a big deal of this? Floette was happy to!

The smell of a nectary scent caught its attention once it arrived at the spot, and the Floette couldn't help but head its way...

It didn't take long for the Floette to get started. This was its specialty, after all, and it loved flowers!

Wob wasn't the smartest Pokemon in the world. Nor the most attentive or most cunning. But the Wynaut didn't forget when someone, either man or Pokemon, did it a kindness. So the Wynaut did not hesitate to give its chattering thank-yous, and continue to hop up and down with "Wy"s even as the Beldum would disappear back into its hiding spot.

Eventually it stopped, and then turned and went to run up the slide again. This time it picked up speed, trying to follow the example from before... It persisted and persisted, and finally, without help... Managed to make its way up. Wob would let out a few more excited chattering noises before zooming down the slide once more.

"Wynaut!"

The chirpy sounds were followed by a stop once it hit the ground. And then...

A glow began to envelop the very happy Wynaut. In moments, its tiny body began to morph and change as it began to suddenly grow in size. When the glow faded, the Wynaut was replaced with a large blue blob. This blob let out one more, very excited and cheery cry as a large blobby hand went to their head in salute.

"WOBBUFFET!"

Josh nodded his head, seeming to understand what Orion was saying. Not making it obvious that he was patrolling seemed like the way to go, though overcaution could also mean that he was missing a big issue out in the open somewhere. Though he hadn't heard any noises of the kind yet, and he was sure that if there were, Izumi would have let him know right away. She was no slouch on the field of combat. She was strong, and resourceful. She'd know what to do if it came to it. And she would prioritize protecting Zach and Lyra.

Orion pointed to a Magikarp with golden scales and Josh smiled lightly as he realized it was a rare breed. What were the odds? Either way though, his priority was on what Zach was doing. Zach followed instructions, tugging and reeling in the line. Luckily the aquarium wasn't all that deep, and the Magikarp would come up out of the water before long. Zachary cheered in delight, and Josh grinned wide. "Alright! You got one! You got one!" Josh cheered, encouraging this sort of joy. "Let's bring him back to his home, okay?" He remarked then as he would release the Magikarp back into the tank. "Maybe one day, you can get a Magikarp of your own, huh? Would you like that?" He inquired toward the child who, while he didn't wholly understand, seemed to just like the idea of Magikarp and giggled in turn. Josh looked to Orion then.

"Pokemon and people. It's a hard job protecting both. But it has to be done, to preserve precious moments like these."

It was done.

The monster was taken care of, sent to the pits of whence it came by the looks of it. Though Josh hadn't seen it grab someone on the way out, as he'd already fallen over from exhaustion. Beads of sweat hit the ground at a rapid pace as he collapsed alongside his Raichu and Charizard. Wiping his face, he eventually managed to sit up. It was time to get going then. Police would likely arrive shortly to do cleanup, and he needed to get Dunamus to a Pokemon Center.

As he and Lightning hopped aboard Fawkes once more, he would press a few buttons on his HoloWatch. The figure that popped up as a holographic presence looked puzzled at his state but spoke regardless.

"Dragomir?"

"We..." He spoke between haggard breaths. "We need to talk."

The figure gave a nod in understanding as Josh cut the communication. He would hold on tight as Fawkes flew off.
