The clouds in the sky didn't indicate any inclimate weather, so a little brain power was spared to surmise that this stunt must have come from a trainer down below. The now extinguished wooden rain was far more concerning. Tugging at Spectress' fins and unknowingly digging his heels into her sides the dragapult spiraled through the debris haphazardly.

The smoke from the extinguished flames hid the starmie but Andy still felt the chill bite at him, as did his pokemon. Thankfully neither he nor anyone else would have to be burdened by icy wind for the remainder of this encounter because of his genger's cursed body.

''Shiiiit!'' As they tumbled out of the chilled smoke cloud, Andy noticed to his horror that Marion had disappeared from Spectress' head. The poor banette must have fallen off somewhere. ''Draaa...'' The dragapult dove towards the platform in confusion. In order to protect her trainer she turned her head to take the brunt of the impact, plowing up lumber until the structure began to disintegrate and fall into ruin.

Snatching in panic at the broach that hung on a chain within his shirt, unsure of where Epitaph was in all the chaos the smoke around him pulsed in crimson shades of red, purple and white before billowing to form the rough enlarged mega outline of a gengar, flaming crimson eyes, toothy grin and all. With a commanding view of the battlefield, he spotted their retreating assailant.

A poltergeist powered smokey tendril grabbed the rope to steer the man back toward his trainer. Would he loose it? If he did poltergeist would fill his clothes and steer him in person, if Epitaph desired it he could crush the enemy like a grape at that point, so he had best think twice lest weight be added to his garments. And woe betide any pokemon who try to interfere, as they would be batted like a plaything into the forest below. Mega forms were powerful for a reason, and he had had enough of this Rocket's weasely bullshit.

Another tendril gave the boy some spin and the cool feel of the genger's essence against his skin provided some much needed reassurance.

Delighted to hear Hideo's assent, it was one of his favorite treats. Chocolate cookies with creme in the middle were broken up into tiny chunks and sunk into an ocean of chocolate pudding, over which was smeared an 'icing' layer of whipped cream. It was a decadent dessert, although Andy wasn't sure where Reginald had picked up the recipe. Perhaps it was left over from the last cook.

Most of my pokemon just lay around themselves.'' Epitaph had already found himself a seat at the table and using poltergeist pushed out two chairs for the both of them. Andy shot him a glance but it wasn't a harsh one. ''Others find creative ways to be lazy.''

A concerned look was shot at the older teen when the puzzled question was fired from his face. Surely he couldn't be serious. While Andy realized that his friend was poor, certainly he wasn't so poor that he had never interacted with a modern TV before. Yet the look on Doug's face seemed to tell a different story. It was unbelievable.
