Mr. Ki? Well, he had never heard the gentleman's name before. Andy pondered whether or not he was a native. None the less, he had apparently been kind to Hideo. Not that necessarily meant anything. He tried to always keep his eyes open for wolves in sheep's clothing. Seemed like they were everywhere sometimes; under every bed, around every corner.

Big crowds had never been his thing, but anytime there was an event it was unavoidable. The whole point was to draw a big crowd. And so Andy maneuvered his way through the sea of humans and their attendant pokemon. He had brought something of an unusual crew today. Besides the ever present Epitaph, he decided to give some of his other ghosts some time out in the world.

Floating above his head was his drifblim, Zeppelin. To his left hovered Sprout, a phantump. To his right Monocle, his duskull. Aside from poor Zeppelin, all the other pokemon were shiny, Epitaph being the most unique even among these; a white gengar. This was no accident. Plenty of bystanders stared and those within his path moved aside.

Surely he must be important with a posse such as that.

Is that...? As he wondered by a stage that supported a performance he caught the sound a of a familiar voice. ''Zepp. I need to look around.'' The balloon pokemon dipped down to wrap his appendages around the boy. ''Drif! Drifblim!'' Raising him over the heads of the audience drew attention, but Andy paid them no mind.

''It's Hideo,'' he observed to his blimp, pointing. ''Take me over there.'' His other companions noting their trainer's flight levitated up to join him. Now floating over the heads of the crowd definitely earned him a stare or two. As he drew close, he could see the boy was talking to another man he vaguely recognized.

Wasn't it one of the church attendees?

It was hard to tell. Much as many of the other festival goers, they were dressed in traditional garb. Andy wore his typical dapper garb. Once a Galarian always a Galarian. As they came into proximity the drifblim lowered him down, causing the nearby crowd to move aside slightly. The rest of his spirit friends floated down with him.

''Hey Hideo,'' he called as his shoes met the ground. Of course, the entrance he had just made would be lost on the boy, but it was more for convenience than to stoke his own ego. ''Thanks Zepp,'' he said with a small wave as the pokemon loosed him. ''Drifblim.'' The lot all followed him over to the boy.

''Whose this?'' While Hideo wouldn't catch his nod towards , he was sure the kid would get the idea.

Mt. Pyre was more his favorite haunt, but travel obviously took him other places. While traveling via teleport or phantom force was far more efficient, it was nearly impossible for a pokemon to take him somewhere it hadn't been before. And so Andy now soared through the air on fairly new addition to his team: the dragapult Spectress.

Much larger than his tried and trusted yanmega, Spectress was a much more comfortable mount than being carted around by Ravana. Not that he had anything against her, but after the Three Days War, he was worried about getting the pokemon killed. Not that he wanted to get any of them killed. From his height in the clouds he spotted an anomaly on the ground.

What the hell? A glowing mound of lava made for a pretty eye catching landmark. At first he thought that it was just activity from the mountain, but then his brown eyes caught the streams of lava being fed into it. Tapping his palm against the dragapult he commanded, ''Spec, lets go down have have a peek.''

''Draaag.'' The creature's narrow mouth made a lizardy squawk. Losing altitude at a controlled rate, the youth noted that this lava pillar was growing in the yard of someone's home, which was even more intriguing. As they came near the ground, the dragapult came to hover over the earth and Andy slid back off of its tail onto the grass.

To his surprise, there were a lot of familiar faces. There was the ginger from the exploded church, Angelo, and Doug. His face contorted into something awkward at the sight of the bug catcher, and he immediately wondered if he should leave. There were also some familiar pokemon, mainly those heatran from the caves.

''Glad to see you didn't get sucked into hell, or blown up, or whatever,'' he directed at the mountainous red head, trying to avoid Doug for a moment. ''Hey loser,'' he said with a small wave at . ''What kind of psycho project are you building here?'' He had a heatran himself, though he had not done much with it sadly. What potential did it have?

The other trainer didn't waste any time. Tapping the dhelmise, its compatic eye shifted down to the boy for him to make an upwards motion to it. Unfurling its chain, the wheel portion of the anchor combo creaked down to the adolescent's height. Putting a foot into a spoke and grasping onto one of the wheel's handles, the dhelmise reeled the boy up to its impressive twelve foot height.

From here he would have a commanding view.

''Skyler, power whip!'' Holding on for dear life, the ship's wheel stayed mostly in place while the anchor that formed most of the pokemon's physiology spun out at the end of a chain over Bryan's head to swipe a sandshrew from the dig site and send it spiraling into the distance. Roots scurrying across the ground, the trevenant sent sandslash to join it with wood hammer.

Andy winced. He knew from first hand experience just how badly that attack hurt. The frillish, dwarfed by his ghostly companions, still brought a fearsome power to bear. Blasting another sandslash with hydro pump, the rodent spun thrashing on its back as the force of the water sent him flailing across the ground until it was out of the dig site.

For the first few moments, most of what the other boy said couldn't even really be heard. He did seem to be taking his suggestion that they leave to heart. Andy followed, trailing a few steps. Wisps of smoke began to conquer Epitaph's physical form until he had once again dematerialized into his trainer's shadow. Not being seen would aid in their subterfuge.

''Your brother's friend?'' He asked in a slightly louder tone that typical. There was a little growl in his voice. What a botched night. Having just spent time in incarceration, he wasn't spoiling to go right back. Doubtless the Galarian Prince wouldn't be enthused about getting him out of trouble, again. ''Why not your friend? Not like that could be a fucking fairy tale.''

Dim lights in gilded fixtures on the wall did little to complete against the window at the hall's end. Inside was more polished hardwood. Another rug covered most of it. One entire wall of the room was large windows and a double door that likely led out to a balcony. The curtains were all pushed aside to allow the glowing sunset into the room. A canopy bed filled most of one wall, the curtains tied back to reveal a snoozing Epitaph.

The size of it was enough to sleep three Andys or maybe even four if a couple cuddled. The rest of the space was lined with chester drawers, a large oak footlocker, a matching chifforobe, a vanity, and a desk. Each were piled with a collection of laundry which varied in size, food wrappers as well as a book or paper here and there.

A door on the wall beside the bed could have been either a bathroom or a closet.

It seemed his young friend was unfamiliar with yamasks. It was understandable given that the pokemon seemed rather scarce and even so some pokedex entries could a tad ... colorful. With a glance at the ribombee, Reginald floated down the right stair case to approach the ghost pokemon, who recoiled ever so slightly.

''Y-Yamask...'' The ribombee had dragged him off before at the request of his old wife, and then a few times with Andy. What an afterlife. Slowly, the young master descended the stairs likely betrayed by his footfalls on the polished wood. ''Yamask are the reincarnated spirits of people long dead.''

Epitaph wasn't the most motivated pokemon, but it didn't help that he was exhausted from his trainer's earlier foray. Of course Andy had left out the detail that it had been him who had fought off the trevenant. If he hadn't the pokemon might have killed the boy. The ghost wasn't even sure why it had been captured and not passed over.

The guest seemed to know what he was doing and he could trust him to make sure his master didn't die. When Doug rejoined his host, Andy perked up at the affectionate moniker.
