Billi looked down at the fish that swam around, and apparently they were the last ones to show up and do this...sooooo yeah. It was a little disappointing that the chance to win was lower, but the game was intriguing. “Oh so like...is it suppose to be good luck or something,” Billi asked as his eyebrows rose in question and a bit of curiosity, but he nodded. The moment he was asked to help he grinned with joy.[break][break]

“Okay I’m ready,” he grabbed the little net and let it stay in the water chasing down the red magikarp trying to trap it in Zac’s fishing net, “Oh thank you for the compliment….a friend gave it to me!” he smiled his tongue stuck out in concentration.

Billi grinned laughing a bit as the random girl yelled at him. It wasn’t like he was trying to be stupid. SURE it was dangerous and yes he could have died, but it wasn’t on the forefront of his brain. And honestly, he just wanted to get the bird close enough that he could lift it out of the nest so he could take care of its wing. “Oh I know!” he laughed a bit at the girl shrugging off her concern.[break][break]

“Birds like breads and I figured they’d come closer to me so I could pick it up, and move it, so I can help fix it’s wings,” he nodded explaining his intentions as the large bird pokemon clearly wasn’t having it. Billi just left his pokemon in their pokeballs, just to avoid any stress that may have been caused. “They refuse to move so….like yeah I was hoping they’d like a yummy snack!”

"Oh wow! Look at that!" Billi pointed out with his pokemon beside him. The trail of magma snails was a once in a life time experience, and it appeared everyone was thinking the same as him! pictures snapping, his own camera flickering as he got past the blockade, to get a closer look as the colony moved as a unit from their volcano home. But it took only a moment as Billi's eyes snagged a purple magma snail in the distance. So chucking a pokeball was the most he could do, but he prayed, "Please don't melt!"

“this year….” Billi took a deep breath as he entered the bathhouse...during it’s quiet hours. His body resting the water. The scars lining his body from surgery, bones and poison. “hmmmm still can’t feel my hand……” he mumbled to himself, looking down at the open scarred palm. “at least….this bath is relaxing.” he smiled letting his fingers trace his large scars. “2021 better be better…...yet….i say that every year,” he blew bubbled in the water as he sank lower.

Lilycove had begun to bustle with the joy of the hoennian new year. The year of the bull, or ox, however you’d look at it. Even so this was Billi’s first festival here in Hoenn and it was SOO amazing! He had been given a Kimono that fit his personality. Something with the bug pokemon across it, in luxurious golden threads. Even so, he walked down the festival, stopping at the cute little….pond thing that had tiny magikarp and the odd feebas swimming around in it. There was a shiny one of each swimming in there, “Is this a game or something?”

Naked and exposed wasn’t really how Billi wanted to have a conversation, but needly to say Billi had quickly gotten used to it. He just had to pretend he had underwear on and that's that. Though a pokemon just crawled in the spring with them, and acted like it was all cool. While a metal gear pokemon stuck behind Billi living for his electronics. So fascinated by it, that it decided to remain beside Billi’s corviknight trying to learn what the blinking meant on Billi’s phone.[break][break]

“Oh I’m more of an esports guy! I streamed for the majority of my late teens! I was pretty big in galar.” he nodded, “I don’t watch sports...never been that kind of guy!”

Billi was great for finding a story. Rumors that bustled behind lost lips, a murder mystery, or even more sinister, missing children wondering into the woods. To be honest Billi thought it was a local legend in the area, but that didn’t appear to be the case. In fact it was almost a fairy tale that would scare children back in Galar. One with a witch and an over. Then again...people make up wild tales, but again….everyone he talked to so far said it was real...and the victims were real.[break][break]

Granted the parents had his sincerest condolences for their losses, but even so...kids just don’t wander into the woods and disappear. Even worse the village didn’t like the media’s presence. “aah…..welll….there’s no way this is just...how they make it sound,” Billi walked aimlessly down the street, until he noticed the familiar face, “Oh hi! Are you here to see if there’s bugs or…..the rumors going around….because both point to that forest, and I wanna look into it”

The blonde was to say the least….an idiot. Billi didn’t think that being on the roof, crawling towards the power lines was dangerous and potentially life threatening! Not like he had a corviknight, or a multitude of insects that could help him get these birds out of their nest and shoo somewhere else. Then again...birds didn’t like to leave their nests willingly. Something would have had to spook them to get them to leave.[break][break]

“Her birdie birdie birdie,” Billi chirped up as he leaned over the edge of the roof trying to food the birds some bread as if that would get them to leave the nest. “Oh….” he noticed someone down there staring at him like…oh, “Oh hi!” he grinned as the bird screeched and flapped their wings making Billi fall backwards, “uuuhh they don’t wanna lleeeaaavvvveeee”

Billi shook the hand even though it was weak, and his hand could barely hold it’s position, he still tried his best. Weak but still strong in his own way, “Billi,” he nodded, “And yeah I catch bug types but I’m not like… you! I just ended up getting connected to my Galvantula, and my love went on from there!” he grinned as the centiskortch popped out.[break][break]

“Maybe I can try what you do,” Billi threw the pokeball, taking the beast off guard and it flailed before getting sucked into the pokeball. It didn’t seem happy but Billi thought to himself, Releasing three pokemon from their pokeballs. Scatterbugs, one shiny, one regular, and an elegant pattern Vivillon. “I’m hoping to find some more vivillon, and i don’t know what these two angels will turn into,” he held the baby bugs close to his chest.

” Yeah some pokemon are really crazy I guess, but i swear their friendly,” Billi grinned as as porygon landed on his head, nuzzling into it, all while staring at Billi’s phone, “Pooorrryyy” its metallic cry echoed as it was registering Billi’s phone, “Oh….how?” he was confused but quickly tapped it with a pokeball.[break][break]

“How...do Porygon exist in the world? Because aren’t they a program?” he asked trying to remember their source.

Billi thought to himself briefly. It was funny….that this person got flustered with a simple compliment. He obviously wasn’t trying to evoke any embarrassing comments, but even so it was true! That the other also had a way with pokemon considering a pokemon began nesting in his hair, “Hahahah it looks like it’s made a home,” Billi laughed as an abomasnow revealed itself behind them, watching like it did during the Mistletoe Matchmaking. It’s large arms wrapped around Billi, “oh hi big fella,” Billi winked.[break][break]

“You know….I don’t really have this kind of luck. I mean I would but my bigger pokemon tend to be more aggressive towards others who get to close to me after the raid happened,” he grinned letting his pet the abomasnow’s arms, “been listening in huh big guy?” Billi asked the pokemon.
