This room and the last gave more pieces of the word puzzle to put together but the themes at play remained the same.

Wishes, Space and Time, Greed, Power, Cataclysm.

While he still marinated the larger story at hand being told his mind jumped back to the art vault of fire-types they'd encountered. The cave-art of moltres and mt. chimney spinning the wheels of his mind.

Another perch to add to the eventual ROOST.

"You know her, don't you?" He spoke to Cait, mindful to keep it in present tense. "The Moltres Girl?"

Stormy out of the limelight was one thing but the fact that she wasn't there for the birth of the twins was writing on the wall. "Did you ever see her doing anything at Mt. Chimney?" He pestered Sirfetch'd by thrust-kicking, forcing him to shield block.

In the next room he had to suppress his excitement. Togedemaru were one of Sénon's favorite non-Kantonian species. Trying to avoid its IRON BARBS and SPIKY SHIELD was easy; he ran the same (ability + move) combo on one of his togedemaru twins. "Rush it; METEOR ASSAULT!"

The Wild Duck once again closed the distance to the opposing pokémon and let his leek do the talking.

Without direct contact METEOR ASSAULT made it possible for Sirfetch'd to attack without being touched by the Roly-Poly's Barbs or Spikes.

Luckily, with no immunity to begin with Sirfetch'd (and thus Crimsen's tactics) were left uncompromised from holding the Ring Target.

Fickle. Who wandered off into the rolling woods because they saw 'something'.

He was supposed to be more predictable as a Head Ranger.

If he said 'Meet me outside the Fortree Gym' people should have been able to turn up at the Fortree Gym and see him there.

Instead, he'd wandered off, he'd missed his meeting and now Laurs would have to find him along Route 119.

It wasn't like he was hiding, but he wasn't answering his phone, nor the tags to his xtranceiver. So whoever wanted him, would have to wade the wilds to find him.

His brows still furrowed, and his voice didn't lack for octaves. "I consider this my fault." It had to be his fault, he was the one in charge so if it all went left it was on him, not her.

When his eyes opened again he didn't waver from her gaze. "I'm not mad at you Sagira." His gut overturned the statement as fast as he made it. "No, fuck that. I'm pissed at you."

He leaned forward, forearms on his thighs. "but I'm only just smart enough to see my frustration wont move your decision."

In the fifth room he noted the joyful scene of a reinculus painting. -and painting the Anistar Sundail no less.

In what little he came to know in his time in Kalos it was that nothing in the region was more Kanto than that inexplicable sundial.

Swapping pokémon once he understood the objective he called forth a pokémon that treated combat as much a priority as Zeraora. Albeit one that needed more rigid orders to function.

He got here before any incidents but there was still quite the gathering of Kangaskhan making their way.

Lavaridge just echoed hollow without Utah, and now Stormy.

Regardless there was still work to be done.

Most of the trainers present did well to deter and herd the passing Normal-types aggressive as they might be.

They weren't completely brainless, if humans gave them a wide enough berth they'd go on about their business peacefully.

He had a spare pokéball in the event he was able to catch one.

Despite how well it was going he knew in full how bad things could go if one of the mothers got upset. He watched on as one of the Kangaskhan roared down on its pup making it cower in obedience.

Not even his pups would be spared a mother with that power. He could see it now.

It nodded at the young grass type before priming. ()

"Raging Fury." As it collar ignited it made way for its opponent only for the grass type to pass out in panic.

Coming to a stop on its hind legs it looked to Senon to end the skirmish, and he did so with a pokeball.

If the other secret identity in the room wasn't going away, hearing them out might have been the most sensible thing to do. Seemingly at the very least, they were keeping up with him which meant their skill had some depth to it.

He had probably had something worth saying so Crimsen would lend his ear, just after this...

He approached their blonde host, remembering the purple smoke that seemed to seep from his shoulder when they'd last seen one another.

The chef might have tried to cut short any socializing, but he'd have to work a little a harder to stop a physical approach. "You seem kind of stiff my man." He put hands on the shoulder that was so suspicious last time.

In a totally friendly attempt to give an effective relaxing massage to the slurpuff's trainer Crimsen tried to apply pressure on the shoulder, careful not to be too rough to draw blood, but maybe, instead something else would come out.
