As the league organization was heading up trying to study and gain their footing on the southern portion of the island, slowly but surely they were moving further inland with each shift of exploration, recon, and mapping that they could. Yuina was tasked with getting some information and landscape layouts for the south western portion of the island, so that they could start to map out the southern perimeter of the island as a whole.[break]
It was also said that there was an outbreak of the mist that was seeping through to the surface from the deepest parts of the island, so it was imperative to get more information on what was going on.[break][break]
She wasn't alone this time, as they were sectioning off different parts of the island, so with a partner, Johanna Joy, Yuina worked to move along the western coast of the island to start their recon mission.

Weathered and weary would be ways to aptly describe Johanna by now. Constantly being sent from one mission to the other was definitely taking its toll upon the young Gym Leader, but that didn’t stop her from continuing. She had to. If not her, then she knew it would be someone else.

For this mission Johanna was working with one Yuina Higashi. Not a name she knew, but she was certain that she would know it well soon enough.

But Yuina wasn't her only companion. Two Pokemon followed her, offering protection in their presence. One was a Claydol, the other a Medicham. Both battle ready and watchful.

Through all of this war, these treacherous trials, Yuina was glad for what she hoped was a bit of a respite? A bit of a break in between the chaos and the fighting? The island was... quiet... And while that may be a problem in its own, it was nice to not have to fight their way through the southern portion of the island, if only for right now.[break]
Yuina trekked along with her partner, and it was understandable that they didn't have much to say to each other... What could you say really, to one another, in a time like this? When they were actually soldiers in the middle of a war for land claim and resources? But she could swear that she recognized the woman's name, and had been mulling it over a good handful of moments before it came to her.[break][break]
"Johanna... Are you the same Johanna that everyone said organized the carnival," Yuina asked, the name Johanna Joy had popped up a good handful of times each trip she made onto the fair grounds, surely there weren't too many Johanna Joy out there?

Soldier’s or not, silence did nothing but add tension to what could very well end up just being a routine survey.

And so, with her Pokemon on lookout she turned her attention to the question posed.

With an eager nod she beamed a smile and said. “Yep, that would be me. Though I can’t take all the credit. It was a collective effort. Honestly, all I did was get the idea for it.”
