Heavy footfalls are succeeded by a hard knock on this makeshift door. It feels like someplace the draconids, or other native-esque people might take refuge. In other words... It's kind of shitty. Some salvaged primal dwelling made from whatever materials they could find.

Even so, there are some who suggest a 'friend' resides here. The Corviknight he flew in on had been stalking the sky for something of an hour before he finally spotted it. It was a waste, but could be well worth the cost if he could just find them.

Rowan had become in tune with the silence of the forest, able to recognize the sounds of intrusion upon his newfound domain. Was this figure that stalked through the underbrush friend, or foe?[break][break]

A knock at the door of his shack told him that whomever had come, intended on making their presence known, and therefore wasn't after his life. Rowan lowered his bow, letting the taught string loosen in his grasp. A quick shuffle of movement brought him down from the canopy, weapon slung over his shoulder.[break][break]

"You looking for me?" He stepped out from the foliage, long hair swaying slightly in the forest breeze. "Derek?" An eyebrow rose, recognizing the figure at last.

Derek turns, dark hues residing upon the familiar figure.

He's still hiding away like some rocket.

The observation is mulled over in quiet. Speculating whether Rowan should be the one he trusted. But it was better this way. The League couldn't know about this. Not even annalise henderson or PENELOPE LIVY.

Eventually the ranger breaks his silence. "Yeah."

A hand reaches for his phone, tapping the screen until it reveals a drawing of a man (dorian westcliff). It's been rendered by a forensics artist, though the face is hardly unique. "But more importantly I am looking for this guy." With so much riding on Rowan's answer, he can't help but tighten his grip on the device.

"You're missing his scar." A finger reached out, tracing along the face where he remembered the aged wound to be. "He has a healed burn, around this area." Perhaps this was useful information, but Rowan couldn't help but ponder the obvious question at hand.[break][break]

"Why are you looking for him?" He asked.
