Showing up, she stood in the battling area, her ALTARIA at the ready. Her fingers scratched at her blue feathers until she noticed that her opponent approached.

"Hello. I'm Diana. May the best trainer win," she said with an extended hand.

Victoria and Osiris were running late today because they'd gotten held up when trying to secure morning breakfast. Lilycove wasn't normally where they resided so navigating the area took some getting used to. Not to mention, because of the tournament there were a lot of people here. Everyone had been enjoying the battles so far so of course there was more foot traffic, even in the morning.[break][break]

"You just had to be picky about breakfast today." Tori muttered under her breath as she attempted to fluff her messy hair. She didn't have the time to fix her bed head too much because they were running late. When in doubt and having a bad hair day, there was nothing better than tying your hair into a messy bun to solve the issue. [break][break]

So that's exactly what she did as she stepped onto the field with her Lucario. Osiris, who had been listening to Tori's grumbling all morning grunted in annoyance. But what more could he do? He was the cause they were late after all. Tori's gaze landed on her opponents hand before awkwardly adjusting her stance to shake her hand.[break][break]

This was a bit more formal than she had been used to from these battles so far. But it was fine. "Tori and yeah, good luck." she said with a curt nod before walking back a couple paces. "Eyes up." She said to Osiris who had been doing a few warm up stretches before the match. "Ready when you are."

The bird-like dragon fluttered its wings, letting out a cawing noise at the LUCARIO in front of her.

"Let's begin!"

Strengthening her defenses, Cadbury initiated a COTTON GUARD before going on the offensive, attacking her opponent with TAKE DOWN.

After walking back herself the match began swiftly with the dragon type's cry. As the dragon charged at the Lucario Tori whistled and Osiris nodded. He was already one step ahead of her. Once the dragon type was closer his aim would be to utilize his QUICK GUARD to mitigate some of the blow. He didn't mind if he took a bit of damage from this. [break][break]

After all, his focus would be on what happened next. Blue light emitted from his paw and his aim would be to unleash the AURA SPHERE once the altaria was closer and unable to dodge as effectively.[break][break]

However, there was still time.

ALTARIA decided to try and SING, lulling the LUCARIO into a dreamy state where she could potentially land a devastating hit. With that, a DRAGON BREATH charged and shot its way.

They managed to take the first point but the battle wasn't over yet. Their opponent recovered quickly and their retaliating attack was relentless. Victoria's brows furrowed as she watched. Osiris didn't have anything that would prevent him but being put to sleep so she would have to count on his willpower and resistance this time. [break][break]

If he wasn't put to sleep, he would fire a barrage of glowing AURA SPHERES at the dragon type. While smaller in size, the amount would be staggering as the attempt was to overwhelm before creating an window of opportunity to get closer. [break][break]
