While the royal ambassador finishes one of her appointments in the afternoon and she knows that two more would be coming a little later in the evening, her shiny Polteageist thought it would be good idea to throw a tea party in the Galarian Embassy’s large break room. Elise’s other Pokemon helped to put up the decorations while the Aegislash stood guard at the door to the room. A vanilla cake with chocolate fudge frosting is near the trays of macarons while the shiny Polteageist pours in lemon tea into each teacup with the kettle. [break][break]

While the Froslass, Silvally, and Mimikyu place the paper plates on the table, the Mismagius joins the ambassador in front of the table with the pastries and tea. For the other guests who would be coming to the party. Even if her Mismagius did not win much of their Vitals in the tournament last month, the Galarian royal wanted it to be a special day for rewarding her partner with pastries to eat.

Zachary felt nervous as he was now in the Garlian embassy of all places. At Elise's invitation, he was welcomed to help celebrate her pokemon as well as grow better acquainted. The party was more geared to Pokemon, and Zachary didn't mind it-- but he never been to any kind of 'party' or 'gala' among royals before. And he was nothing more but a commoner at best. Elise's staff however, were kind enough with her instruction to find him appropriate garb for the occassion. Zachary now looked in a mirror in a dressing room. He didn't even recognize himself. He was in a black suit with a tie, all tucked in and straight. He had none of his usual blue and white colors that he enjoyed. Even his sneakers were replaced by thin leather shoes. He just didn't feel comfortable in this and sighed into the mirror. "This is totally not my style of party..." Zachary sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. [break][break] On the other hand, Dizzy was more and willing to 'dress up'. Finding a funny looking 'cane' instead of his usual stick, he twirled it elegantly. A random one he found in the Embassy and more than that, he now was dotted by a black 'bow tie' on his neck, and a monocle, that made him look like a fancy British fox from Aesop fables. He twirled the cane as he presented himself to Zachary. "Bak-bak!" he barked upbeat, liking how he looked. [break][break] Zachary looked at Delphox, not sure what the Delphox was supposed to look like. "Um... Dizzy? This is a embassy gala, not a costume party, " he commented, the sarcasm zinging the fox. Dizzy gave a defensive bark and still held on to the look with determination-- in an attempt to impress. [break][break] Zachary and Dizzy soon entered the party, finding both people in elegant and buisness dress, but majority of open and out Pokemon of many kinds and sizes. He even spotted a "Lickkytongue" eating an entire tray of appetizers with its tongue. There were many types to see, more than Zachary could identify. [break][break] Impressed, Zachary soon reached into his pocket and retrieved his Pokeballs. He tossed them into the air, which then cracked open to reveal the creatures inside. [break][break] Zachary's Abra-- Tarot, Natu-- Prophet, Mime Jr. -- Happy, and Slowking -- Calypso (tempt name). The party of 'indoor appropriate' Pokemon appeared and was soon greeted by the happy delights of the party. They chattered and squealed with enjoyment. "Okay everyone. I expect you to enjoy yourselves and be on your best---" Before he could speak more, Abra teleported once more, and appeared on a table. He had swiftly took a silver spoon from a party-goer, clearly drawn by the need of a spoon to bend. [break][break] "...Behavior," Zachary sighed, rubbing his head as the others went off on their own. The only one left was Dizzy, who was looking for Elise to pay his respects.

There were other people coming in to the gala and those that she knew were other influential people from other regions and their Pokemon dressed fancily. For the party, Elise is in her best dress: a dark blue slim gown with a circle of red roses around the waist. A pair of long white gloves cover her hands and the upper half of her two arms while her Polteageist butler delivers a teacup over to her table. “Thank you, Chamomile.” She smiled down to the shiny teapot ghost as she sees a Delphox in a well-dressed suit looking for her.[break][break]

“Is that…?” When the ambassador walks over to see the Delphox, she recognized him from their first meeting at Mt. Pyre. Since Dizzy was here, his trainer may have come here for the gala too. “Hello Dizzy, is your trainer here? I hope he wasn’t very late.” Elise greets the Delphox with a smile while her other Pokemon were helping with the trays of food and tea to give to the other partygoers.

The party seemed fun enough. While proper and fine music playing in the background, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Dizzy was one of the more well behavoed ones as he looked around and ate a few things like a 'civilized' fox, picking a little bit of food with his free paw and ate it. With the little bow tie, he looked adorable to most. Elsewhere, Happy too was cheering and dancing around the dance floor with other Pokemon, really becoming the center of attention. The Slowking Calypso-- was sipping tea with some noble looking humans, as if having a deep and meaningful conversation with them. (I love this Slowking). [break][break] Dizzy observed things, but his ears perked up when he heared a familiar voice. He gave a happy bark to Elise and her Mismagius. "Brow! Bruck-back!" Dizzy spoke, expressing his happiness to see her. As if to mimic people, he gave a courteous bow to the lady. Dizzy was being very gentlemanly for a fox pokemon. Perhaps he had an unconscious crush on the lady. At the question of Zachary, Dizzy looked around-- and his eyes locked on him. [break][break]
"Hey, who bent all these spoons? These are high quality silver!" a party guest argued. [break][break]"Tarot! Get back here! I mean it!" Zachary shouted. [break][break] "Wha-- did it just teleport into the punch!" another guest argued, as the Abra licked his face from the punch on his face. [break][break]"That Abra is a menace... no teleporting around the party!" [break][break] Dizzy's ears drooped embarrassed by both Abra's antics, and Zachary's failed attempts to tame the 'self-superior' pokemon. [break][break] Finally, Zachary got a hold of Abra in his arms and held on to him. "Tarot, I swear-- you can't go around teleporting and taking whatever you want. It's RUDE!" Zachary scolded the Abra in a low but firm tone. [break][break]All the while, Abra looked with his slitted eyes-- as if he was fainting ignorance. The last thing they needed was the Abra's attitude wrecking the party. After a bit, Zachary soon spotted Elise. "Elise... hey, there. Um, I'm sorry about SOMEONE'S bad manners..." he said as he held Tarot as if he was a stuffed animal. [break][break]
