Zev stood just inside an alleyway near the main intersection of downtown Lilycove. At night, the city was quieter, lacking the normal bustle of pedestrians and traffic. Only a few people and Pokémon heading home from dinner or seeking out bars walked the streets. [break][break]

All the shops had long since closed for the day, too. Even the multi-level department store for which Lilycove was famous stood as a dark sentinel above the crisscrossing streets. Zev could see it from where he lingered, a pale shape against the moonless sky. [break][break]

It was the perfect night for a heist. [break][break]

"Let's go over what we know," the Rocket Beast said to his companion, a grunt specializing in robbery. Embry Hawkins had recently transferred to Hoenn, his file indicating a family allegiance with Team Rocket but no personal career for them. [break][break]

All that was about to change. [break][break]

"All the doors leading outside are locked, and there's an extensive security system of cameras both on the street and inside the building," Zev continued. His tone was cold, detached. Professional. "Our target is in a collection of watches inside the Cartier store on the fifth floor. The cases are set to trigger alarms if breached after business hours." [break][break]

His Gengar, hidden in the shadows of the alley, lurked nearby. Red eyes peeked out from darkness to observe the street just beyond. [break][break]

Zev checked the time on his watch, then looked back over at Embry. "As this is an evaluation of your skills and not mine, what do you propose for sneaking in, grabbing them, and sneaking out?"
