"kyle lopez presumed dead." A harsh truth that would only do them harm by coddling one another. "MATIAS SILPH is not only laid-up, he's unstable. Skyler's gone. Angelo's gone. Katherine's gone. Stormy's gone."

They were weak—weaker than they've ever been. That was the unfortunate truth.

Aerodactyl roars in pain, staggering. His ears bleed and all sound comes muffled. Panicked, he releases a HYPER BEAM towards the ceiling, slowly lowering it down until it will soon obliterate his enemy.

Umbreon, on the other hand, cringes against the thunderous explosion. Pain erupts and, guided by innate desires, she summons a MOONLIGHT to heal herself and the Aerodactyl.

Poison fills his veins and, despite the AMETHYST SPERE he projects, it's not enough to keep him steady. Greyson makes it to the platform, teeth clenched, and falls to one knee.

BADLY POISONED.

That was unpleasant. He needed to find a Comfey—if one had come along with him, that was.

He turns to Naomi Sato. "Won't be much use here," barely keeping the panting at bay. Already the ends of his appendages were turning purple, black veins pulsing across his skin.

As the floors descend, each jarring impact pulses queasiness through his body. To keep himself from choking, he pulls the mask off, finally getting a breath of fresh air—if a poison filled prison full of death and refuse counted.

He doesn't look for others, trusting annalise henderson, paxton concordas, illeana reyes, and others to fend for themselves. The masked creature was a threat that couldn't be ignored, but he feels regret that his words hadn't reached her.

Andrea Vaneau's call surges new hope and he watches as Naomi Sato surges to aid them. He would have to do the same.

With both hands pushed forward, teeth clenching even tighter than before, Greyson EXPANDS HIS AMESTHSTY ORB to its limits. To encompass Ogerpon, the Ultra Beasts, every threat within' sight. Enough to allow a more steady hand than himself to work; to keep all others in his sphere safe from the fatal thread that advances on them.

He knew it wouldn't be without sacrifice.

[attr="class","snub-greyson"]An EARTHQUAKE clears a path of rubble, but Greyson can't help but grimace—seeing as he wasn't a ranger, Greyson was hesitant to make sweeping changes to an ecosystem, and the wildlife therein.

As if summoned by his doubts, a Vibrava flutters from a nearby crack in the wall. His Tyranitar dwarfed the ground-type, but it was clear that flying gave it an advantage.

After several long minutes the Vibrava made a mistake—a costly one.

Flying too close to deliver another attack, it sputtered it's wings and cries, as the Tyranitar lept in the air just enough to bite down on a pair of wings.

Spiraling out like a crashed plane, Greyson jogs after the injured Pokémon, only to find it twitching on the cave floor.

He sighs. He had no interest in this Pokémon, but guilt packed his bags nevertheless. He catches the ground-type, unsure how to proceed.

Maybe freya morningstar could nurse it back to health. She'd enjoy that.

Clicking his tongue he nudges his head back.

"Let's go.

The movement of her hand is not lost on him—amethyst hues flicking to the action for a moment, before landing back on the woman's face.

Greyson resists the urge to narrow his eyes, but doesn't quite succeed. His own distrust of others was a parasite that, over the path few months, slowly wormed its way deeper, and deeper.

"No, you're not. 111 is another mile in that direction." He points down the path she was headed, slightly at an angle. He tries to keep a smile on his face, congnizent of his position, and the demands brought forth by public relations.

"As for me—" he lifts a hand, pushing the storm out further with PSYCHIC powers "—I'm just practicing."

Aerodactyle slips beneath the DRAIN PUNCH, utilizing the impromptu state of CONFUSION. Lowering his shoulder, he levels a GIGA-IMPACT at the Lowkey Pokemon.

Greyson chuckles lightly, but turns his attention to the Umbreon. She'd already DETECTED the SLUDGE BOMB, stepping out of the way. Poison was one of the most dangerous ailments you could get in an extended battle like this—it could make, or break a battle.

His team needed to make sure they wouldn't fall prey to its corrosive affects.
