Klaus's attention is soon captured by the egg which appears, his eyes blinking slowly and head tilting faintly to the side; its surprise isn't hidden for long as Unknown begin to swirl out and attack the group.

He hums once, the scene unfolding into chaos once more as Hidden Power attacks begin to fly across the air. Pursing his lips, he unpockets his last pokeball and releases his Litwick, his head tipping towards the impending attacks to direct, "Protect."

Klaus's eyes glaze. There's a lot going on. He's missing the junction of his shoulder and neck, a gaping hole which dips down past his clavicle at the front and near the tip of the shoulder-blade in back; morbidly fascinated with this development, Klaus passes his hand through the empty space and promptly pulls both his hands to his mouth to keep from vomiting.

Taking deep gulps of air, oblivious to the relative chaos and torrent of information flowing around him - something about they're going to die. The universe is going to die. It's all too much. Panic rises in his throat again, the taste of bile prevalent, before it all simply... vanishes.

Glancing at his hands, Klaus slowly lowers them before finally listening to the sounds around him. After a moment's thought, he easily decides the past is good enough. With that, he moves to Terminal 04.

The furrow along Klaus's brow eases minutely as Beau assures him; he blinks once as he's winked at, his gaze swiftly averting to the egg pokemon held in his arms. "I-" he begins, his voice abruptly cut off as he's gently teased and then finds an arm slung around his shoulders.

The pink dusting his cheeks darkening, Klaus's heart rate ratchets upwards, resulting in his arms unconsciously clutching the Togepi tighter. In response, the Togepi fusses, and then shrieks. Nearly fumbling the pokemon out of his grasp, Klaus bites out a frustrated, "For fuck's sake."

"You take it," he demands desperately, the Togepi unceremoniously shoved into Beau's arms while snatching up the silver bells to free the other man's hands.

Uncaring of his trainer's distress, Froakie looks thoughtfully over the Applin and the makeshift bunker; putting a webbed foot to his little jaw, the Froakie observes the construction with a critical eye and then purposefully bounds over. Pushing papers here, and shoving them there, he soon begins to mold spires of bubbles from the mantle around his neck, creating impressive little arches for his newest friend.

Klaus's neck prickles with sweat, his eyes wide as he stares up at the digital form of Reshiram - he hadn't signed up for this. Well, really he hadn't signed up for anything, he'd made the mistake of showing up which is really an entirely different kettle of fish.

Everyone seems to be attacking or defending, meaning he should likely do the same. Hand going to his hip to retrieve a pokeball, Klaus pauses as he considers his poor Dreadnaw - deleted and gone. Frowning, his brow knit in concern, he stares at his pokeballs for a moment before the intensity of the heat finally shakes him from his indecision. Releasing his Dragapult, he wince subtly before instructing, "Dragon Rush the Reshiram!"

With a subtle nod the Dragapult is off, phased out of sight only to reappear much nearer her target. Mouth agape in challenge, the Dragapult gathers her energy around her, licks of blue and pink waving like flames, and slams into the Reshiram with her attack.

Klaus fidgets with the hem of his shirt as he eyes the eels slinking about over the beach, their gnashing teeth and undulating bodies something straight from one of those paintings of Hell he recalls studying in art class. Looking from the pokeballs in his hands to the swarm beyond, he finally picks out one that contains his Cofagrigus.

"Ominous wind," he directs and the coffin-shaped pokemon releases a blast of wispy black wind in the Eelektross's direction. There isn't a type advantage to exploit - this would have to do.

"Oh thank Arceus," Klaus breathes out as Ceri confirms he likely won't have to bring in the demon brothers again. He's going to have to send the little bastards to a training boot camp, or actually take some time with them to gentle the assholes. If that was even possible.

He sighs heavily when the remaining Eevee snaps at Ceri, and with decided hesitation, reaches out to grab the pokemon when offered; holding it beneath the armpits, the Eevee dangles there looking at the humans with murderous intent. "I should let a Sharpedo eat you," he threatens the Eevee to no effect. Shifting his grip to scruff the little fox pokemon, he offers the thing's pokeball, which it thankfully takes to.

"Sorry again," he utters, not even acknowledging her offer of bringing in more pokemon. Thankfully, he doesn't have any. "I - have a good day," the man concludes awkwardly before taking his leave.

"Ish," Klaus answers vaguely. He winces sympathetically when the Eevee in Ceri's care takes a swipe at the woman, the little pokemon's hackles up and teeth bared as his blood is taken.

"Sorry about their behaviour," he mumbles in turn after Ceri has thanked her, his expression soon exasperated when the Eevee wriggles out of her grasp and bolts for the door. "For fuck's sake," grouses the man as, whereupon seeing his brother make a break for it, the Eevee in Klaus's hand gets the bright idea to try the same.

"Here," grumbles Klaus as he shoves the squirming Eevee into Ceri's hands to go and retrieve the other who is presently scrambling madly across the floor. Eventually, after a good deal of swearing, Klaus manages to retrieve the Eevee - to his desperate relief the Eevee goes willingly into his pokeball, apparently angry enough to no longer desire torturing everyone with his presence.

"Fucking finally," he breathes out, his face red and sweat collected on his brow for his efforts.

Glancing over his shoulder he asks, "Are you gunna need to see them again after this?" He hopes not. He has half a mind to pitch both of them in the ocean when he gets back home.

As Ceri works Klaus busies himself with not getting bitten by the second Eevee - he offer's the pokemon's pokeball to no luck, the Eevee sniffing haughtily and refusing to go in. With a soft sigh, he spares an apologetic look for Ceri as she works, though otherwise makes no comment as to the poorly behaving brother.

His brow furrowing momentarily, he supplies after a moment's thought, "Uh. They both know Morning Sun. One of their parents was a Shadow pokemon and the other Illumina but they didn't get the Illuminate ability - they both have Adaptability instead. And their temperaments are shit. From their dad I guess."

"I don't.. really know much else about them to be honest," he admits, his face flushing somewhat with embarrassment. He should probably know more. They're his after all. But he hasn't had time for them, and they keep each other busy and out of trouble so...
