The SPIRIT BREAK blades charged forward. With a desperate COTTON GUARD attempt, Cadbury tried to defend herself again before attacking once more with a TAKE DOWN.

The dragon shrieked as the X-SCISSOR came for her wings, feathers flying from the damage.

With an angry charge, she flew high and went down with an angry SKY ATTACK.

However, there was still time.

ALTARIA decided to try and SING, lulling the LUCARIO into a dreamy state where she could potentially land a devastating hit. With that, a DRAGON BREATH charged and shot its way.

As she did, the ALTARIA charged a MOONBLAST, sending the fairy-type move beaming toward the SHAYMIN in retaliation.

[attr="class","diana"]It seemed that while her COTTON GUARD managed to minimize the attack to avoid a knock out, it still took away another point on her end.

One more left, and it was game over. They were still in it, though.

It seemed the KUBFU was going all out for the final attempt to bring down Cadbury. She would do the same as she SANG, trying to let his guard down before flying into the air and charging a SKY ATTACK.

She knew Cadbury would take damage either way. Hopefully her COTTON GUARD HELD.

With an angry cry, the dragon-type charged a DRAGON BREATH, shooting the draconic beam toward the KUBFU to heavily injure it.

The metallic Pokemon spun with grace. She was surprised by how a Pokemon had so much beauty despite being inorganic. Cadbury decided to set up her defenses, using a COTTON GUARD before charging a MOONBLAST at the sword-wielding creature.

Unfortunately, it was not enough, another health point eliminated from the foe's own MOONBLAST.

[attr="class","diana"]As the match point was given to team Diana, a surprise graced the stage. A mega evolution, broad wings escaping the back of the PINCER as it charged forward to attack her.

Cadbury squawked in shock, taking a hit before charging a DRAGON BREATH in retaliation to her opponent, attempting to fly out of the way.

Unfortunately, the hit landed, causing a loss of a point.

Though that was the last she said as the fight begun. This wasn't the ALTARIA'S first time going against a robotic, future-esque Pokemon. She recalled her recent match against an IRON JUGULIS, hard fought to the end.

She wondered if this would be the same.

In attempt to dodge the PSYCHO CUT, Cadbury took to the sky, coming down swiftly in a SKY ATTACK to the apparent sword-wielding beast.

Though the cuts made their way through, claiming the first point.

Though that wouldn't stop her from attacking with a charged MOONBLAST on the offensive.

Cadbury was hit with the attack, the HYPER BEAM penetrating her defenses. And with one last, tired cry, she fainted. Diana's first defeat.

She recalled her Pokemon into its ball, tucking her away before joining Caesi into the center of the field. The crowd was still going wild, but it was time to congratulate her competitor.

"That was a fantastic match. Thank you for keeping us on our toes. I wish you the best in your future matches."

After taking her break and watching a few battles herself, she understood the enthusiasm.

She approached the man, extending her hand for a fair handshake. "I'm Diana. My the best trainer win," she spoke, her accent think as her ALTARIA hovered behind her.
