Each step can't come soon enough as they hurtle toward the opposite end of the beach. Fernando can feel his hair frizzle underneath the summer's sun, a testament to how much sunlight he's gained.

Pain was slowly climbing up the alolan's legs. If he wasn't going to have cramps after these runs, it'll be a miracle. Maybe that's what this event was for? Tire everyone out before something big happens and everyone can't participate due to how dead they were? The only saving grace of the harsh sun was the ocean breeze as they ran the course. Legs burned but he made sure to be quick on his feet to keep up with Salem as the platforms over the water came. The Meowstic doing his job with PSYCHIC to bring over both trainer and pokemon across to avoid the obstacle completely rather than having to run it. It worked most of the time so no reason to stop on their last run.

[attr="class","spiral"]Eventually, they make it to the finish line. They're all covered in sweat and their own filth but that's to be expected. Nothing a quick dip into the ocean can't help fix. Unfortunately, none of them seem all to eager to move from the finish line. They've ran the course numerous time over the past few days and most of them are looking forward to a great period of inactivity.
