using his trusted scope lens to survey the battle from the side. ian watched as the league tussled with the opposite enemy. but there was something moving from the lighthouse, where he hadn't been too far, that caught his attention. at the top there were two men stealthily flying forward. ian wasn't sure if they were league members or civilians, but they seemed eager to dive in.

that was not of his concern.

and as he looked straight ahead once more, something, or rather someone, caught his attention. sneakily they moved, zooming in with his single lens device. it would come to catch a recording of none other than evangeline. from behind he knew that booty from anywhere. just what was the actress doing here? why was she heading on her own?

though ian worked for the league, he wasn't obligated to do his part to assist the people he despised. he only came here to find something worth risking it all. this was a once in a lifetime, and for some reason ian felt as though evangeline could help with that. how does he know this? he doesn't, but if he knew anything about the famous actress, due to proclaiming to be a big fan of her work, it was that she had something exciting that would lead him to some nice looting.

with his briefcase in hand, he'd place the item back. with the aid of his starmie, ian took off. calling upon it for assistance to guide him. "make sure you stay close, but keep your distance! we're following my fair lady. make sure you keep her in sight." starmie understood, only for it to afterward raise its defense parameters with COSMIC POWER.

ian had no clue where evangeline was going, but with team and suitcase. he couldn't wait to get some data out of this war. too bad he would miss the big battle that was ongoing upon the shore.

"kaida." destruction rains down around them but his words are clear. the intensity in her voice and expression is not lost on him. "keep your head clear. i need you with me."

alexander points north, creating a path through the air. "we'll stealthily approach through the air and use the clouds as cover. avoid combat if possible. try to gather as much information as we can and relay it back."

tapping on his earpiece, alexander looks to the others. "anyone is welcome to join."

salamence swings his heavy tail, dragging it against the sand. gallade sharpens his arm-blades with a SWORDS DANCE, preparing for battle. swampert summons a rush of BLIZZARD in an attempt to disrupt the path of the fliers. and pyukumuku sets up a pool of TOXIC on the sand, hoping to catch any stray megalopolans that slip through. all of his pokemon remain in formation around him.

Prior to the League having mobilized their troops onto the beaches of Lilycove to fend off the ensuing hordes of the Megalopolan forces June had managed to meet up with some familiar faces, forming a small unit of their own once they headed out.

Once on the beach June’s Mr. Mime popped a WIDE GUARD to protect the group from the wide ranged attacks.

And with the chaos ensuing the battling going on would be enough cover for them to put their plan into motion and make their way to the northern coast.

”Alright everyone remember the plan? Let’s get-“ Words interrupted by the sounds of a Naganadel’s cry as it and its rider came down to attack.

The rider was shot off by Inteleon’s SNIPE SHOT while the combination of Urshifu’s AQUA JET and Dragapult’s DRAGON PULSE dealt with the Naganadel. ”The hell out of here and moving.” She finished, hoping onto her Dragapult while returning her Inteleon and Urshifu.

”Could someone give Mime a lift and Noah can you give us a boost?” Once those things were situated she’d get moving along the northern path using the rocks and other land formations in the water as cover while also being in range to protect the north boat should it start moving.

worried eyes flicker in the briny wind as chaos descends upon the coast. as he knocks a megalopolan soldier down with a sweep of his leg, his unfezant conjures a TAILWIND for his group. the bird soars forth, scouting ahead as they navigate thinning rocky shore.

"HURRY!" he cries, voice searching for Noelle Lane and @iris among the hastening winds.

his falinks march forth: a moving fence of protection should any enemy come near. noah's medicham rushes too, an ICE PUNCH shattering into a naganadel that comes close.

noah's machamp would linger, waiting for June Fair's mime. it would give the pokemon the escort it needs should no one else be able to while the gym leader races to keep up with her.

The third day...

Igor hadn't slept since the first night, being awake some 46 hours or so since, yet he showed no signs of wear nor tear.

Standing on the beach front of Lilycove before the battle began the Rocket member would nonetheless move as the others did once the great climatic battle began as the aliens appeared on scene. Following another Rocket member, one McFlurry, as she dug a tunnel to the Northern islands. Beside Igor was a Blastoise while another had been sent into the battle before entering the tunnel in the first place. This second Blastoise of course was none other than Wolf, one of Igor's most powerful Pokemon. And it was Wolf who had been given a special mission....to attack the Leaguers, to be more than just a thorn in their sides.

It might've been a collective effort to push back the aliens to achieve Humankind's victory, but Team Rocket was also at war with the League, and what better way to cripple your enemy than to take advantage of them?

As such from the beach Wolf would enter the sea before diving deep and making his way over to the boat at the Southern side of the beach. Once there Wolf would crack a wicked grin before activating his back/shoulder mounted cannons, firing them and unleashing bright white condensed beams of energy aimed at the bottom of the boat. The sheer force of the attack would push Wolf from the middle of the water down to it's floor for the moment, regardless the Blastoise always enjoyed using his Flash Cannon attack.

The roar of the ongoing war was deafening. Between the roar of waves wildly rocking against the shoreline, the cry of pokemon muddled with the commanding shouts of their trainers, and the inevitable clash of frenzied attacks, it was a haze of chaos. Even as she and her group left the beaches to head to the less populated northern rocky outcrops, the pinkette couldn't help but glance over her shoulder. Should they stay and help? Despite her internal dilemma though, she didn't stray from following alongside the others, opting to purposely ignore the unsettling stir in her stomach. "Coming!"

Her dragonite assist in taking out the overhead assault from the nagandel, opting to use a more subtle dragon rush to aid in taking down the ultra beast before continuing in its aerial scoping.

Her blastoise dives alongside the waters, surveying any threats nearby or along the water's edge. It swims nearby @iris ' absol, seen as little more than a large dark shape underneath the surface. There's a slight glimmer to its shell though, as it readies to use protect on the whim and aid in the dark-types' efforts.
