HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Adrian was strolling around the Jagged Pass, it being one of the last few safe havens in Hoenn, as most of the corruption reported took place on Hoenn's fringes. Here, near enough the heart of Hoenn, he could be at relative peace. But make no mistake, he remained vigilant to the threat.

But now, like so many other times, was his opportunity to unwind and try to forget about the imminent conflict. The war. The word was starting to get thrown around a lot. It was a first.

Where better to meditate on his fears and find his nerve, to hone his skills and attain confidence, than in the Jagged Pass? Nowhere else.

Off to his left a Machoke was pounding against a boulder, shattering its surface with every punch, sending splinters of rock and flint flying.

They both noticed each other at about the same time, and the Machoke seemed to fixate on him more than Adrian had it, holding its battered fist threateningly. I'll just be going elsewhere then...

Giving it a wide berth, Adrian clambered further along the pass in search of something else.

Something that wasn't going to punch his teeth in for looking at him the wrong way. And aside from that, he'd already acquiesced a Machoke.

Maybe I should have a pokemon out...

If nothing else he was intrigued.

A Slowking meandering about the Jagged Pass, as far inland from the ocean as it got. Perhaps he hadn't the grasp on this pokemon he might've thought, considering he was comparing it to a Slowbro's habits. Since it's here, I might as well...

His last remaining pokeball was lobbed at the creature after a short skirmish with his Corviknight, Reign. After waiting out its Psychic and Water-type attacks behind Reign's bulky iron defense, Adrian ordered a swift Power Trip that brought the wild pokemon to heel. And with that he would away.
