a small rat bike sputtered a little as it rolled through lower slateport. lulu skimmmed the area with vigilant eyes. she was on the hunt for pokemon, still searching for steel-types. the breeze blew red tendrils of hair out from under her hood as she went through the night, the cherry of her cigarette glowing in the shadows. a solrock levitated closely, waiting for a cue to attack if something of interest were to pop up.

out over the water, she noticed an emolga swoop down. it did aerial acrobatics, diving low and then spinning out, seeming playful. sparks emitted from its plush abdomen as the squirrel pokemon joined them momentarily for the ride.

though they weren’t there for electric-types, she reasoned with herself that it was silly not to take a pokemon that was practically throwing themselves at her. smirking more at her luck than the endearing nature of her poor new victim, the woman tossed a pokeball up from her pocket, catching the emolga, and blowing smoke as she caught it back in her hand casually.
