[attr="class","spiral"]Klara's got her beat-up pickup truck loaded up and running, her music blasting (an old country station), and now all she needs is her partner for the day. She's not happy about that last bit. Having a partner at all for runs like these is outside her preference but having to wait for them, too? It's got her in an awful mood.

Moving cargo is very time specific. Moving pokemon all the more so. There's only so many paid off officers on the routes she likes and they only work for so many hours. Bringing a new face is already complication enough . . .

She lights up a cigarette to calm her nerves and ease her temper. What'll be will be. No use stressing.

[attr="class","spiral"]Between the radio, her cigarette, and her frustration Klara is more than distracted enough for her tardy partner to sneak up on her. The knock on the glass earns a decent jump from her in her seat. A few cigarette ashes try to burn her through her pantleg before they're brushed away with an angry hand.

She glares through the window before gesturing for the man to go around and get in the passenger seat.

Once he's in she catches her cigarette between her lips so she can use her free hand to work the truck's stick. Once they're rolling she brings her right hand back to her mouth while the left handles steering.

She turns the radio down a little before pointedly jabbing at the time displayed on the clock there. Her cigarette bobs between her fingers, spilling ashes haphazardly. The question is implicit: Why were you late?
