It just so happened that Stormy was in the area. Or maybe it wasn't really that coincidental, considering Lilycove was generally a pretty central hotspot for the Silph family to come together. Slateport who? Lilycove, yes please.[break][break]
However, for the most part, her interactions with her siblings was generally estranged. Ever since the family had fallen apart, in a sense, at the funeral of their parents, Stormy had even less in the way of commonality between them. The only thing keeping them together seemed to be their mutual last name.[break][break]
Granted, she had more recently come to an understanding with Fernando. They hung out more often-- usually her idea. So it really shouldn't come as such as surprise to see a familiar name flit across her screen. And yet it does.[break][break]
Stormy's phone rings as she's pulling it out of her jeans pocket. She'd just flashed her card to buy herself a coffee for the road and was checking it to make sure she hadn't been charged twice. But she pauses abruptly in the center of the street as 'Evelyn Silph is calling' pulses on her screen. Her thumb hesitates over the answer button as she glances around.[break][break]
Her quick-stop encourages someone from behind to jostle her and they grumble about stopping in the middle of the road. She mutters a half-hearted apology before picking up the call, stepping off to the side as she presses the phone between her shoulder and cheek, pressing the lid tighter on her coffee.[break][break]
