the walk down the steps is strangely ominous. as they're swallowed by the shadows, the rotom-camera turns its flash on.

"they say there are rumours of treasure here, but i don't know how likely that is." he leads them down a turn into their first uncharted area. "valuable pokemon will do just as well."

aside form the scientists, they're here to make a profit.

valerio pulls a face where marcel maeda bursts his bubble. “i'd say fun is an opportunity one can find anywhere.”[break][break]

he cheekily plods alongside the rocket admin, hands folded behind his head. as they plunge into the dark chambers, his dragonairs imitate rotom's flash—sapphire crystals attached to their bodies illuminate, scattering beams of light throughout the stretch of the cavern.[break][break]

“and i bet fun can also mean something like...” his thumb and forefinger brush against one another but it's valerio's smile that gives it away.[break][break]

a fallen pillar blocks their path. not immovable, but large enough that it'd take a few pokemon still. besides, marcel doesn't want to risk disrupting the strucutre of the ruins. it'd be better to move around it.

he beams at the gardevoir as he shakes his head, nodding towards the direction of his dragonairs who begin to fly back to him at his whistle. the serpentine dragons' bodies carry their trainer through his arms and lift him above the fallen pillar. on the others side, the light coming from their pokemons is completemented by the natural glow of the shards that juts out from the cavern walls.[break][break]

“oh, it seems fun comes around sooner than expected. i bet the pricey ones can be found further.”[break][break]
