With another day off Razz decided to bring with him another of his poke he hasn't had much chance to use. Mostly because as he read up more on Dreepy the more worried he was about her. Though after some thought about their first meeting he figured why not give her a shot. Sure she might be fighting an uphill battle but she had heart, he'd see just how far it would take her.

Jade was flying by, ever vigilant of her surroundings obviously excited to be out for a fight. Something that still had the Ranger worry especially as an apple looking pokemon seemed to sweep in and try to snatch Jade in their jaws. "Jade!" Razz panicked some very much not ready to lose another, but to his surprise the small ghosted used INFESTATION, opening her mouth as small ghost bugs took over the body that dared snatched her up. Swallowing the apple whole, and within seconds was gone leaving a giggling dreepy there. [break][break]

"You're... a lot stronger than I thought..." he comments with surprise as they float over and excitingly speak about how easy it was, and a 'told you told you!' Well.... moving on then.

"Alright seems like you can defend yourself alright, but lets try something a little bigger," Razz comments as he scans the area, noting the Gabite as he gives a small point. The Dreepy agrees as it goes forward challenging the ground dragon, but they give a look at them before yawning and digging itself away into the ground clearly not interested in the shrimp. This seemed to insult her pride as he went yelling into the hole requiring Razz to move her away, "Now now they might not want to fight, but I'm sure we can find something bigger for you to take out, don't want to beat up a coward right?" he tries to calm which made Jade ponder on the whole fighting a coward thing so fine. She'll accept it for now.

As if on cue another opponent did come forward. A violent one apparently, as a Kingdra jumped up from the passing river and aimed a DRAGON PULSE at the ranger. Razz was able to jump back to avoid a direct hit but the force of the attack still managed to knock him back with Jade still in hand. Not liking the cheap shot the dreepy phased through her trainer challenging the water Dragon. Without prompt Jade went first with a QUICK ATTACK to get the Kingdra's attention. Thanks to her small size, and some direction from her trainer after the Ranger was able to recover from the attack from before Jade was definitely going to show she was the Queen Dragon here. [break][break]

After a DRAGON RUSH the kingdra was left a floating fish in the river as Razz used a pokeball to capture it. Yeah he was going to need to invest more time in Jade if he wanted to keep up with her drive.
