the wintertide open is set in lilycove’s prestigious contest hall. much like the aurorus winter ball, the proceeds of this event will go to helping slateport city's refugees. however, that does not mean there will not be prizes.[break][break]

players perform with their pokemon, attempting to dazzle the judges with their beautiful or powerful choreography. make a roll with the dice plugin with your posts.[break][break]

after one round, a mod post will roll three times (representing three judges) to determine how well the acts were perceived. your roll with also be considered alongside the judges' rolls. each round will have a theme that the performers have to represent. the grand prize winner will win an exclusive trip to "the lab ray", which supposedly alters a pokemon's genes to express their shiny palette.[break][break][break]

• round one - winter (one pokemon limit)
• round two - dance of the sugar plum fairy (two pokemon limit)
• round three - generosity and celebration (one pokemon limit)

• there is no limit to how many moves you can use, but there is a limit to how many pokemon you can use in each round.

• rocket members are allowed to participate in this event. they can be disguised or play under the idea of being one face in a million. fun over realism is being exercised in this case.
