IT WAS NOW THE EVENING of the Mistletoe Matching charity event. Most of the dates had now been completed and the individuals were now enjoying the festivities. Suddenly, all the lights in the City began to close, allowing the participants to view the night sky over their head. A voice rose from the speakers installed at multiple locations: "Everyone, please make your way to the Center Stage for the closing ceremony."[break][break]

If people made their way to the stage, they would see Balder standing on the stage, with banners of the event sponsors behind him. Once people have gathered, spotlights would open, directed to the scene as the Alolan man took the microphone. "Everyone, thank you for coming to the charity event. Thanks to everyone's support, we were able to raise more then a million Pokedollar to be used to help everyone!" The man waited for the applause to calm down before continuing.[break][break]

"None of this would've been possible without our sponsors: Silph Co, RaiCorp as well as the assistance of their respective representatives, Stormy Silph and Josh Dragomir ! And of course, with all of your presence and generous donations! Sadly, this wonderful night must come to an end... But not without a special finisher!"[break][break]

As he said that word, a firework exploded overhead in the shape of a Christmas tree. Balder proceeded to take the mic once more. "From now until the early hours of the morning, a dance floor shall be made available with a DJ, known as dJack Frost! An area will also be readied without any light pollution for those that wish to see all the firework shows we have planned for you all! And also, alcohol will be made available for any adults that wishes to partake of some! Some mini-games will also happen from time to time, just be wary of the announcements on the speakers!"[break][break]

"Once again, thank you all for coming! Please enjoy everything we have still to offer you and take the opportunity to make some wholesome memories! Merry Christmas everyone!!" As the lights closed, some Delibirds flew in to guide people to the locations they wished to go, as well as give more presents to everyone.

Since it's a big single megathread, please add a tl:dr at the end of your posts.
If you got any xmas/winter attires, now's the time to pull them out.
Bring as many characters as you wish, but don't have them interact between each others (AKA Self-RP). Interact with the others in the thread!
As stated previously, I will some times throw disruption and interruptions so be on the lookout for those.
Unless Shiv or Spiral says otherwise, this thread Will not provide rewards of any kind.
At the moment the thread starts, it's ~~fake~~ snowing. This might change during the thread.

as balder gave his speech kazimir was busy looking up at the sky watching delibirds fly around the sky delivering the laast of their gifts to various different people. those birds were really hard workers putting in crazy overtime like that, he should probably follow zac's example and get something special for them next time he runs into one of them. heck he probably still had some leftovers of his home-made macaroons in his bag, he couldn't be sure so double checking would be in order.

For now he would go about in the crowd and mingle with the other guests for a good few minutes while making his way to a corner opposite of the stage area where he wouldn't be seen and took out a pokeball. "time to spread a bit of christmas love." he giggled to himself as he opened the ball and out came his minior Ryusei who had a twig of mistletoe wrapped around him. "alright buddy just like we planned, go out there and spread the love." he gave a wink and a devilish smile at his pokemon to signal it to start flying around the crowd to try and play matchmaker with everyone there. kaz gave him a few minutes of a head start before reintegrating himself with the crowd.

She arrives, after a quick break to change back at home, in a Mrs. Clause warm wooly outfit. It even features authentic Wooloo wool. The bell on the end of her adorable Santa hat keeps blowing into her face, however, on her way back to the main party.[break][break]

Apparently, there were plans for a final big shebang to wrap up the entire event. Full of food, friends, and free beer on the house.[break][break]

Literally the moment she steps in, she lifts a bottle of champagne off some waiter's tray, raising it into the air with a great woop of enthusiasm.[break][break]

"Merry Christmas, everyone!"[break][break]

It pops, bursting and foaming all down the side of her hand, and she makes a halfhearted attempt to clean it up by shaking her hand dry and licking the length of her pinky finger. Someone else nearby passes her a glass, and she gives them a look of surprise. She'd been happy enough to drink the bottle herself, not share it or be civilized with actual glasses.[break][break]

She was here to get absolutely smashed, bro.[break][break]

And then she spots Kazimir up ahead, and she wastes absolutely no time acting a clown, pouncing on him from behind in a gigantic bear hug.[break][break]

"Hiiii Kazi, baby, are you enjoying the party?"[break][break]

In the background, Stormy's Coalossal has taken up residency in the gigantic fireplace, letting it simmer back into a nice, relaxing burn with its incinerate. The hot coals provide ample heat for the entire party, with the heat even rising up the stairs to the floors above.[break][break]

as things start to kick up and people are mingling kazimir was off to the side drinking a cup of hot cocoa he had procured for himself and took his time between sips to blow on it. he would consider himself a social drinker so he would have joined some others in downing various glasses and shots of alcohol, company was always something that warmed him up but he did need something a bit more hotter that could warm up his shivering bones.

however something even warmer than drinks came up to him and hugged him from behind and looking back the sight of Stormy Silph put a big dumb grin on his face. "hey stormy! oh this party is kicking off pretty great. 'specially since your here now." he wasn't that surprised to see her here although her impromptu hug did almost make him spill his hot cocoa, he was a pretty fun girl and didn't seem like the type to pass up on a big party.

just looking at her made him think about the friends he's made this past year and how most of the fun times they had was when they got themselves into trouble. sure they manage to get themselves out of it for sure but kazimir himself realized that a decent chunk of the trouble was him getting his ass kicked and having them cover him while he was down. he was forever grateful to have friends like that for sure but he knew that he couldn't keep letting himself get knocked on his ass like that. he took a quick glance at a banner celebrating the new year and decided that he would make his resolution to become stronger for their sake, to either protect or not make them worry anymore about him as both would be good.

"hope your having fun too, buuuut i can guess you are with that." he pointed at the bottle in her hand as he broke the hug and held up her arm holding the bottle. "hope you plan to share, i mean not with me cause i got some nice hot chocolate right here." he let go of her arm and took a sip of his drink only to choke on it a second later as he saw his minior suddenly hovering over them with mistletoe dangling above. "wha-what ryusei why are you somewhere else!" he exclaimed as his face turned red from the warmth of his drink obviously.

The momentum of her own action nearly spills her own drink. It's by sheer force of will and dumb luck that the glass she's holding doesn't slosh, and the uncorked bottle in her other hand doesn't spill. She's grinning wide as he turns around to smile back at her, and Stormy winks, clearly more than a little bit intoxicated.[break][break]

Honestly, she blamed the accidental pre-drinking. Yes, she had been skating for the better part of her first two dates, but who knows what she'd been up to for the rest of the time. Bar-hopping? Probably.[break][break]

"Does that mean you're happy to see me? Kazimir...."[break][break]

She gives the man a light punch to the shoulder, applying pressure more to bashfully push him away with her knuckles than to actually wind up and hit him. Though his attention seems to be faraway, facing the banner for the new year. It sparks a giggle out of her, and she takes another sip of her glass.[break][break]

"Are you making new years resolutions already? What the hell.. me too!"[break][break]

With enthusiasm, the woman bumps her glass to clink against his hot chocolate, bringing it to her lips merrily.[break][break]

"To encouraging and nursing our long-lasting friendships, and to many more to come!"[break][break]

No, it didn't make all that much sense because her brain feels like it's working double-time to make even the slightest lick of sense. Regardless, she seems happy as hell about her new year's resolution, and especially thrilled that she's enjoying it with one of her closest friends.[break][break]

Kazimir gestures to the drink in her hand and Stormy watches as he lifts her arm with the bottle in it. It dangles, still mostly full (surprisingly), and her attention moves from the bottle back to Kazimir's face.[break][break]

"You want some? I'd love to share."[break][break]

He lets go of her arm and she lets it fall back down to her side, followed immediately by a tilt of her head as he glances up. She spots the redness in his cheeks immediately, and guffaws out loud, boisterous and too loud. [break][break]

"Oh please, just come down here and kiss me."[break][break]

Stormy shakes her head in amusement at his embarrassment, before finishing the glass in her hand to not spill it in her next movement. And that movement is her tucking the glass into her hand holding the bottle, using her now free hand to pull him down to her level.[break][break]

Much like his date with Katherine Fairburne, he prefers to keep away from action, allowing Stormy Silph to represent Silph Co. in his stead as he looks to keep to himself. He still remains present, should the need arise, but taking a back seat gives him time to reminisce about the region as a whole and the people he's sworn to protect. Nothing more than Durants from this distance, he cares little for them as individuals, but as a populace he still needs them.

Several Delibirds reveal their PRESENTS to visitors and Fernando drags his feet against the wood flooring as his pixie colored smoke evaporates from his nostrils into the winter night.

From the fringes of the festivities, and the dank interior of one of Fortree's rowdiest taverns, a blue-haired gent wearing a fur coat stumbles in half-drunk with a Santa hat on. An unblinking and stoic Xatu waddles behind him, watching with indifference as its trainer unapologetically places himself beside FERNANDO SILPH. Narrowing his eyes and scanning the scene in front of them, desperate to see what the well-dressed man saw, Alevander hiccuped.[break][break]

"You know I've been thinkin' about things... and New Year's resolutions are stupid... but I think for mine I'll promise to stop -hic- drinking... eggnog. Y-Yeah, that's it. Nasty stuff. Happy New Year, pal." He grinned, patting the man on the back and turning to face him... only to slowly realize he didn't know him at all. "You're uh -hic- Bob's... Bob's brother, right."[break]

Alevander began to laugh, a sound that got stuck halfway through his throat as he pushed himself off the railing and struggled to keep himself balanced for a moment. "well yeah but-" before he could say more he was pulled down to her level and he locked eyes with her and could smell the alcohol on her breath. she was clearly already drinking a bit beforehand no doubt but that didn't really ruin her cute face as kazimir did his best to just take a pause before doing anything else. when was the last time they kissed? that whole mess with that virtual reality game before? boy did that feel ages ago.

still it was only right that he do it because well...there was mistletoe. that was the rule of it even if it was his own doing that there was any at all. "well, pucker up then." he nervously chuckled out as he moved in closer and wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her towards him as he moved in to plant his lips on her.

Stormy giggles, clearly inebriated, as Kazimir at first grows bashful in the face of her encouragement. Face to face, she can feel his breath tickle her nose and see, clear as day, the warmth in his cheeks.[break][break]

But he pulls her closer and they're tied up against each other for just a moment. He tells her to pucker up but she's honestly lagging behind in the registering situations department. Was he actually going to--[break][break]

Her eyes widen when he kisses her, and, although the gesture is brief, it is sweet and leaves her tingly and even more giggly. When they break apart, Stormy winks, planting another brief kiss on his cheek.[break][break]

"Not bad, Kazzy baby. Hey, are you hungry? I'm hungry, I'm like.. super hungry."[break][break]

She takes another sip of her champagne, briefly catching the lingering attention of @lev, and FERNANDO SILPH beside him. She offers the both of them a brief wave before turning to look for food, with Kazimir if he so desired.[break][break]

his cheek warms up as she plants another quick kiss on his cheek after their kiss breaks apart. the warmth still lingers either from his blushing or her own warmth leaving its mark but before it could even cool he was pulled along to look for something to eat. "hey sure i could eat. haven't eaten anything since noon."

as they made their way to the serving table he managed to overtake her slightly and be the first of the two to come up and grab himself a plate and begin stuffing it with food. tauros steak, mash potatoes and gravy, grilled oran berry slices, fried farfetch'd leeks, and even roast slowpoke tail slices. it almost became a balancing act for kazimir to try and hold his plate together as he searched the room for a place for him to set his plate down while he was busy taking a fork to his food and bringing a slowpoke tail to his mouth.

"man what a spread. think there's any place for us to take a seat storms? oh shoot what do they have to drink anyway? cause uh...you look like you could use a refill." with a smile and a nod he gestured towards the bottle in her hand that he was pretty sure was empty already.
