"If you look to your left," The mildly-bored sounding guide started from the head of the pack. "you will find an Arctozolt. These pokemon were restored from Galarian fossils and is unique in it's physiological structure like all Galarian fossil pokemon. Studies have shown it may have used it's icy body to preserve it's food."

A few curious 'oooooohs' from the crowed. Chu-e glanced at the pokemon in the distance, which seemed to be dragging some fish into a little hole, and found it to be cute. A little odd, since it looked more like a mash up of two creatures, but still pretty cute. Bramble huffed as they trotted along and Chu-e gave her a small pat, wondering what they would see next.

"If you look straight ahead, you will see a few Trapinch burrowing holes! Trapinch are native to the Hoenn in the more arid areas. However they are still quite rare due to over hunting and the low chances of wild Trapinch reaching maturity." A few more hums and 'ooooh's like before, but Chu-e had little time to do more than stare at the nest before something fell right into his lap- a Trapinch, away from the small swarm. Glancing up it looked like it had been higher in the cavern and was digging down, which led to the shower of rocks and pokemon in his lap. The thing looked ready to snap, so he used one of the balls he had been given before it could bite his fingers off.

With that small emergency dealt with, Chu-e had gotten a little behind the tour group. He took a moment to make sure Bramble was still calm before he guided her to move again. They hadn't taken too many steps before another Arctozolt passed in front of them, making her whinny.

This one looked... was it sick? Not having any knowledge of the things, he just leaned over and tossed a ball at it. May as well get the poor thing looked at if it was sick.

Tucking the ball away, Chu-e spurred Bramble on to catch her up with the group. It didn't take long, the group having stopped, most of them sounding in awe with some little wriggling bugs all over them. He was confused until he saw the tour guide picking them from one of the walls where dozens were crawling, casually handing them out. Soon enough he found one in his own hand, and he practically gasped in absolute delight. This was the pokemon that guy with the coco had! The cute one!

"Can we catch them?" A young girl from the group said, voicing his question. The tour guide nodded, smiling.

"Of course!" The tour guide went on to start explaining about them but Chu-e had already tuned them out. It was all he needed to hear, one of his last two pokeballs being used on the cute white bug.

After the Snom was captured, Chu-e couldn't help but let him back out of his ball. He wanted to squeal, only mildly resisted, and then carefully placed the ice-type in his front jacket pocket. The little worm was pretty lax about this, all thing considered, and the man couldn't help but wonder how often it had been manhandled to be so comfortable with it.

Eventually, the ones who hadn't caught the Snom had handed them back and they were placed back on the wall by the guide. Then they were moving again, trekking deeper into the cavern on their pokemon. Chu-e thought he caught a glimpse of a blue pokemon in the corner of his eye but he was too focused on his new Snom to pay too much attention.

"If you look to the right, you'll see some Darumaka!" Glancing over, across a small frozen pond, the promised pokemon were gathered. They seemed to be having a snowball fight, a half a dozen or so of them all laughing and giggling. "This is the Galarian breed! Scientists speculate that the flame sac from the Unovan breed atrophied, which allowed them to adapt to snowy conditions!"

Chu-e hummed and nodded along, glancing over them as they passed by. They were cute but not really a pokemon he was interested in. At least he had learned a 'fun fact' about them.
