Minium damage was the way to go with this! At least so it seemed with Billi. Smoke billowed out as if to give a signal of danger to the townsfolk. Of course Billi was trying to enjoy his night out, licking some fairly festive candies, because not only were they yummy, but actually rather cute in appearance...Little Taurus on a stick. So cute. Even so! Billi paused turning to see flames at the shrine.[break][break]

Just like at the Lilycove Warfront Billi quickly turned to release his pokemon from their confines. The spider pokemon, and his wimpod and surskit beside each other. Though...he really didn’t notice that the boy was trying to get his slowpoke to do ANYTHING, “Oii...pinch it’s tail! Their slow but maybe if you startle it’ll shoot some water! Or the gland in it’s mouth might be a good thing to poke.” billi commented as his spider quickly spun, throwing a large water bubble over the shrine entrance to soak it with water.

That wasn’t what Billi meant, and actually it made him halt as the water sprayed onto the first. “Hey!” Billi’s feet planted in the ground, “Don’t do that! I said pinch not step on it! It’s done nothing wrong! It’s just a slowpoke!” he scolded the child because he loved pokemon! It was unbelievable that someone would do this to a pokemon. As the flames fanned on, Billi glared harder at the boy. [break][break]

“Never do that again!” he repeated himself once more. “Pokemon deserve respect just like people! Maybe if you were nicer the slowpoke would do it!” he stated as the Araquanid spun it’s water bubbles like webs, trying to reduce the smoke and the flames with the wimpod and surskit backing it up, as it slid across the ground.

''That's why people eat them so much. Almost all they're bloody good for.'' Aiming the pokemon's head back towards the shrine, he crouched down to focus on the slowbro's passenger. Reaching down the length of the tail, he rapped on its shell and its eyes flicked open not long after. ''Yo.'' He gave a small wave. ''Mate, I need you to make this thing not stupid.''

The shellder blinked, seemingly uncaring, until Epitaph poofed into mist and slithered across the ground to reform behind Andy, pulling his own mouth wide, rolling his eyes into the back of his head and shaking his tongue around widely. All of this combined with the genger's off appearance surprised the crustacean causing it bite down.

This time the slowbro sprouted water right at the fire.

The dex may have been right but there was a humane way to go about things, and treating a pokemon with respect. Just like the first behind him, Billi glared the boy down, for the first time since arriving in Hoenn, has he been disgusted with someone’s behaviour. “Even so you can’t abuse your pokemon! He did nothing wrong to you! And they make amazing friends for children because their forgiving creatures,” Damn….that Gengar slithered around perfectly, like a rattlesnake under a stone.[break][break]

Water splashed behind them as Billi turned his back to the boy, “Fine….you do you, But i’d rather keep this place from burning down so I don’t say anything mean to you,” Billi huffed as he walked towards the flames. “Aqua Jet,” he ordered the two little pokemon who flew up the side of the shrine splashing water to stop the flames.

The blond gave him the impression of someone with too bleeding of a heart. The slowbro, or at least his slowbro, was typically too aloof to follow any commands, which made its use difficult. In Andy's mind that was what the creature did wrong. To him people like this guy lacked a sense of nuance. If the pokemon wasn't hurting you, it was a-okay.

''Oh thanks for sparing my poor fragile heart a tongue lashing, mate.'' The sarcasm was clearly woven into each word as he stepped over the stalk to the slowbro's tail and leaned around its head. Placing a palm behind each ear, he guided its head to steer the water stream along the flames and more effectively extinguish them.

The fire was starting to die down but the smoke was also beginning to obscure the interior of the shrine. His gengar was still making a face the she shellder for a hot minute until he got bored of it. After that, the slowbro's water stream lost pressure and distance until it finally receded back to the pokemon's snoot until it faded away.

Sarcasm….why….why did this kid have to be a brat. And yet the gengar matched this child perfectly….Blue eyes ignored the other’s presence briefly as Billi moved his araquanid inside, “Quick,” he ordered telling it put out the flames faster, as it’s aqua ring soaked the inside of the building, preventing further damage inside. “Don’t be rude to people,” Billi turned to the boy, and bit back every mean thing he wanted to say.[break][berak]

“Don’t be giving your pokemon a bad name because you want to act nasty. Never a good idea!” he tried scolding again...but even so it seemed to be a waste of his breath. “Now he’s tired cuz you forced the shell to bite it.” he quickly released his Volcarona which were known to be an extremely dangerous fire type, “Whirlwind,” he smiled as it cast the swirling of wind with it’s six wings, gatching the smoke and sending it up into the atmosphere to prevent immediate damage, and just hoped it would help it rain in the area.[break][break]

“Like that. If you cause mischief you’d only add to a stigma of Gengar being only ‘bad’ “

''Rampart, smother any flames left around, eh?'' The glowing beady orbs in the castle's window blinked. His physiology didn't really allow for anything like a nod. ''Paaalloo,'' it echoed unnaturally as the pokemon slid arcross the ground towards the shrine. ''Look at that. Maybe I should have used ol' Rampart over Derp. Wild that a sand castle is more competent.''

Billi stared at him, and paused more. Getting slightly annoyed with the child. Sure Billi was only like twenty but still. It was unreal how someone could act this...immature. Then again..Billi was a very mature person. “Bad maybe wasn’t the right word. Just...comes off as Bratty,” he retorted crossing his arms, “You know he’s hardly scary as a Kyoger” he mentioned the fact that he had met one before.[break][break]

Billi seemed rather annoyed with the boy as the palossand came out. “You can’t ruin the shrine!” he scolded again but pulled out his pokemon. Daft fuck...well maybe that was true, but Billi took a deep breath, and glared at the boy, “mhmmm,” granted….the boy didn’t realize most likely that Billi was offered the gym leader position.[break][break]

Soon the Araquanid, returned out of the flames with a few people, dropping them off outside as the winds spun, sucking up some of the sand from the ghost pokemon.

A kyoger was the flying whale thing that haunted this region, he was pretty sure. Every region seemed to have their own legendary pokemon. That one had yet been seen by him though, which was odd as he had seen its counterpart groudon at Mauville, along with a few other high status pokemon. A war was a good place for such powerful creatures.
