Zac looked around the featureless void. "I, uh, like what you've done with the place," he said, shifting uneasily from foot to foot. Is this still Chryssa's room? Did I take a wrong turn on the way here?
    The great hole of nothing swirled around him, pulling at the edges of his jacket. "I came to ask about the, uh, the mission? That we were gonna-"
    Movement. In the darkness. Zac spun, red eyes searching for answers. There was nothing there. Not just an absence of a human form, but a true absence. of light, of sound. He started to sweat. Is this place getting smaller all of a sudden?
"Don't worry about it, actually," Zac said, taking a step towards the door. "I'll come back, uh, later."
He lunged for the doorway, just as the void snapped shut, enveloping the space he had been standing. Zac slammed the door shut, breathing hard.
    "There's not a person or Pokemon alive that scares me as much as that girl."
