ZAC Handyman Hustle Michi's house  MUSIC Zac heard a snipped of the story from the landing and burst into the room. His keen instincts as a storyteller told him that Lars was floundering, and he jumped in to save him. "Oh I've heard this one!" he said, confidently, as he sat down on the end of the bed. "So this stonking great sea monster bursts outta the ocean, all rage and tentacles, and suddenly the water starts rising." Zac settled in, feeling the story swell around him. Etsuko seemed interested, though it was hard to tell as she was still wearing those damn reflective shades. "You see, this was no ordinary beast. In the ancient past, Tentacruel were worshiped as godlike creatures by the tribes living in the Hoenn islands. They would throw feasts and make sacrifices of their strongest warriors!" Zac pulled a dramatic pose, and Estuko shifted, getting comfortable under her Hello Skitty duvet. "Now this particular Tentacruel dozed off for a couple of hundred years, and woken up to find that people are now none too fond of the poisonous little suckers! So here he is, bringing a wave of destruction right to our doorstep and demanding affection and an array of beefy boys to sate its appetite!" Etsuko was incredibly interested in the story, but just as Zac reached the best part he heard footsteps in the hallway. Hopefully nobody was doing to ruin such a dramatic moment. "So what do the higher-ups do? They send the strongest, toughest man of them all to do battle. That's right, they send-" |
