Buneary found himself dropped off at the daycare by his new Trainer. While his trainer hadn't said much about it, there had been some implications that he had a great purpose ahead of him... which meant that Buneary had been chosen! He knew that stumbling in front of that guy at the safari had been a good idea!

But, he didn't understand why he would need to come to some 'daycare' place in order to fulfill his destiny. Huffing, Buneary started to hop around, looking for the answer to his burning questions. Little did he know, he would soon find it in the form of another pokemon.

Zlato got to play today? With other friends?![break][break]

The white Poipole was ecstatic. It had never before been allowed to participate in play with other pokemon, or even people! Life outside the tank had been good. Life outside the house with white walls had been even better. And traveling around with master, even if just in small doses, was ELECTRIFYING! But this? This was a whole new world.[break][break]

Zipping around in the air, the little alien giggled as the man in the green daycare apron chased him around frantically. Pretty soon, Zlato found himself zipping outside and into the jungle gym at the center of the playground. Hiding in the big red tube, the Poipole mischievously chittered as it crawled on all fours towards the viewing window further down the tube.[break][break]

It stopped, however, when it realized it wasn't the only one here! Cheerily, Zlato wagged his tail and greeted the Buneary with a happy little noise. Maybe it wanted to take part in his game![break]

A very amazing and whimsical structure seemed to be a good spot to start... And if it looked fun to play in, well, the bunny would keep that to himself. While a certain white, alien pokemon was interested in the tubes, Buneary was more interested in the monkey bars! It would make a very worthy and suitable challenge for someone like himself...

As he peered up, his eyes caught on the Poipole's face pressed against the viewing window. He gasped, for this must be...

"The princess!" Did Poipole have genders? Did this one identify as a boy? Well, that didn't matter. To Buneary, Zlato was now the princess of whatever story he had concocted in his brain. "Don't worry, princess! I'm a super cool knight here to rescue you!" As if to show his point, the bunny pokemon picked up a stick and did a very dramatic and cool (in his mind) pose.

Zlato tilted his head rather confusedly at the Buneary below. Why did it look so proud of having found a stick? Was it gas-powered? Did it do special tricks? Well, now Zlato absolutely had to find out.[break][break]

Quickly, the Poipole crawled out of sight and went further into the tubes. Backtracking and going out the same way he had come in was boring and short! There was much to explore, and the little alien had the heart to explore it. The further he went in, however, taking twists and turns unexpected of such a seemingly uncomplicated jungle gym, the more Zlato started to realize he was lost.[break][break]

On top of that, he was starting to feel a little... nauseous?[break][break]

Before he knew what hit him, the Poipole vomited a small burst of GASTRO ACID. It ate away at the red plastic until it finally gave out, unceremoniously ejecting Zlato downward like a bad egg from a giant's ruptured intestine. With an 'oomph', the little alien landed onto the cushioned, black styrofoam-like ground below. So that was 'falling'? That was... fun! He giggled to himself, wiping away the acid at the corner of his mouth.[break]

"Huh? Hey!" When Zlato vanished from sight, Buneary pouted. Well, there went his princess... But he did linger closer to the jungle gym, dragging his stick behind him, to he could examine the best plan of attack to climbing to the top. When Zlato fell, he fell just behind the bunny, making him jump. Whirling around, 'sword' raised, he almost smacked the Poipole on the noggin before he realized what had happened.

"Oh! Princess!" Dropping his stick, he ran over to the other pokemon and offered his paw. He tried to look dashing and strong. "Are you okay? Uh.... I mean...." He cleared his throat, tried to deepen his speech. "Fair maiden! I am here to, uh... check on your well-being! As is my duty!"

Seeing the Buneary in front of him raise the stick did nothing to alarm or frighten the Poipole. With its slightly messy and bright-eyed face, it smiled up at the bunny and confusedly blinked. Princest? "What's a princest, kupo?" He asked, eyeing the fluffy paw that was offered before hovering upwards and sniffing it.[break][break]

Suddenly, the stick wasn't so interesting anymore.[break][break]

"You smell like berries. Do you know where we can find some?" The white Poipole excitedly asked, encircling the bunny swiftly and finding itself entranced by its fluffy ears. "The green hooman wouldn't let me have his treat." He explained, tapping one of the bunny's ears with the tip of his tail. The man in question, of course, wasn't really green. He simply wore green: which was the primary color of the daycare's uniform.[break]

"You are!" To answer the first question. Buneary had to gasp out a little 'wooooooooow' when Zlato started to float, though, forgetting his previous game. That was so coo! He wanted to fly!

"Berries? Uuuuuum...." His human had given him a snack before sending him here. Not that he couldn't fend for himself! He was a wild pokemon, living off the land, in the comfort of the safari zone, before coming here... it would be easy-peasy. "I bet we could find some! Hey, go up in the sky and see if you can spot any bushes with super dark leaves! They have these little green berries that are my favorite!" Since he was getting his ears worked over, reached up to try and touch the other pokemon's tail. Mild vengeance.

Zlato was a princest? Impossible![break][break]

"I am Poipole, kupo!" He explained with a giggle. Whatever a 'princest' was, he had never heard of it. So how could he be one himself? This was a very silly thing, he thought. The bunny was mistaken.[break][break]

Looking upwards when the Buneary gestured for it to do so, however, Zlato eagerly looked around for any sign of the berries he had asked for. This place was unlike any place he'd been to before. They were outside... but they were still inside. Or there was a big net high above them, anyway! Thankfully, the 'outside' area was filled with trees, too.[break][break]

So, just before the Buneary could snatch his tail, the white Poipole swiftly flew up. "Ok, ok! I will look! Green berries, ok!"[break]

"If you see one with green berries and little pink leaves, those will make you sick!" Buneary was hopping from foot to foot, excited now as the thought of those juicy berries filled his mind. He was so excited, he didn't even notice the daycare worker come up behind him! "Ah!" He cried out when he was lifted up into her arms, the worker careful not to hurt him.

"Your trainer is here to pick you up, little guy! Did you have fun?" Before the bunny could protest, he was walked back towards the entrance. He felt bad. He hadn't even gotten to say 'goodbye' to his new friend...
