ZAC
Snap Catch Petalburg Woods | Solo Wild
MUSIC He pulled the ball out of his bag and held it tight, clutching the faded, shadowy sphere and avoiding the release button. "I still don't get you, buddy. What are you..." Zac was going to finish the question with a 'for' or a 'wanting', but he just let the words fade, dispersing like sunlight among the fallen leaves. There was another conspicuous weight in Zac's bag, and he pulled out the blocky shape that he had wrapped in foil and handkerchiefs. The plate.
Found in the underground, Zac had carried it tucked in his bag since November. It was only a quarter of the whole, but it was enough that Zac could feel it's power. Touching it for more than a minute was unbearable unless he wore gloves. It felt like insects were crawling over his hands. The attractive effect it had on Pokemon was subtle, probably because it was just a part, but it still made Zac wonder about potential uses. Something thick and black slithered through the branches overhead. It coiled like burnt wire through the ancient spurs of wood, parting leaves and spiralling downwards. Zac took a step back, eyes wide at the sight of the huge snake. In his hand the Pokeball remained dormant. Without his call, there was no Answer. "He's a bloody beauty," Zac breathed, watching the Seviper's scaled, sinuous shape. It was camouflaged against the deep shadows and covered boughs, and Zac had almost missed it. If it had been sitting still he would have walked right under it. Zac put Answer back into his bag without looking away from the dark shape. It would be all too easy to lose Seviper in the foliage. He blindly retrieved a Pokeball from the half-used six-pack, and tossed it at the snake. NOTES: Catching Seviper! TAG:
