"We could do that. Or. We could maim her." Said the Paras while slowly drifting on the water atop her floater, a pair of black glasses upon her peepers as she looked up to the Seviper.

She had no Dark type moves for it to strengthen, but she had plenty of dark thoughts.

She had been spending too much time with Kama the Scyther.

Perhaps that was why he had dropped her at the Daycare- hoping against hope she would find better role models.

It seemed unlikely.

The Seviper seemed to find the words more amusing than offensive or threatening, snorts rumbling along its lengthy body as it continued to leer down at them with some hunger.

The Paras visibly tracked the drooling venom as it slowly dripped down from the Seviper's open maw, to the pool, turning to look pointedly at Victoria as the water began to colour a dark purple.

"She's harming us." She asked dryly, glancing at the rest of the pokemon on the tiny pool that weren't poison types or standing safely atop a floater. "Can we maim her now? We can just smack her a bit if you are trynna keep your trainer happy."

Enough was enough.

"Hey, you." Said the Paras, her best Kama impression on show, despite possessing none of the intimidating factors. "Get your nonexistent butt down here. I'll teach you what happens when you mess with the baddest bug this side of Hoenn!"

The Seviper came closer.

And closer.

And closer.

By the time she was looming over the little Paras, Biollante had had just enough time to consider the error of her ways. Kama was the furthest thing from her mind as the Seviper taunted her, her mouth wide open.

"Um." She said, looking into the Seviper's maw, her sunglasses doing very little to help see in the abject darkness of her mouth. "You seem really sorry about it, so I'll let it go this time. Boss always says mercy's important and all, so..."

Her new friend wasn't able to convince their uninvited guest to leave the pool.

Now that the Seviper was upclose, Biollante knew for a fact that she was just a bit more than she could currently handle... but she had given them an ultimatum.

Okay... Kama tactics had failed. What else did she know...?

An electric spider jumped to mind, and she shuddered.

"... Um." She uttered. "Fine... we'll... play."

She fixed the Seviper with her coolest smile, her dark glasses tipping slightly.

"So... Come'round here often?"

Um... Success?

"_Okay." Was all she could say, both scared and something else she couldn't quite describe. Was this what was supposed to happen? Goran had said she wasn't ready to learn everything... whatever everything was.

Unfortunately, she wasn't sure her new friend would just cut their losses and run off.

"Um... Don't worry about me. I think I... we'll be fine." She said, trying to signal to the other to get out before the Seviper took real offense.

She would think... of something.

"S-so..." What had Goran said again...? Ah yes.

Compliment their strength.

"Really strong grip you got there!"

Biollante felt a small relief when Victoria finally retreated, no longer in danger should her... new friend lose her temper, for whatever reason. That was one innocent saved.

Now, could somebody please save her?

... Did she need to be saved?

She looked back at the Seviper, staring in for a moment. She could almost imagine Goran shouting encouragement in the distance.

Of course, this was, as stated, entirely imaginary; the electric spider would have been screaming about incompatible egg groups had he been witness to the young bug's circumstances.

"... Sure. Show me around?" She said as she climbed atop the Seviper, feeling some confidence return to her.

Yeah! She could do this! She had Goran's blessing! (not)

Well. That was foreboding.

What would Goran do in this situation?

An imaginary Goran popped up in her head, speaking clearly...

"Run away as fast you can and live happily in shame!"

Wait, that didn't sound right. The Paras squeezed her eyes closed tightly and shook her head.

'Do I even need to tell you what hungry means 'ere? You've got this!' Yeah! Hell yeah she did!

The Paras' eyes snapped open, nodding sharply at the Seviper.

"Comin'~!" She said as she began to get off the Seviper's body- and tripped.

She fell onto the tree branch right in front of the Seviper, bonking her head on the wood... And accidentally releasing her Effect Spore all over the place.

Whatever the serpent had intended to do, it would have to wait as the sleeping spores got inside her nostrils... Knocking her unconscious into lalaland.

"Ouch..." Grumbled the Paras as she stood back up, cursing her inability to rub her own head- before noticing her 'date' was unconcious already. "Wait! You are not supposed to sleep without me!"

Now what? Goran said it was bad form to sleep with someone already asleep. Something about decency.

"Aw man... I really needed a nap, too."

Oh well. Doug would be back soon anyway... Next time. Maybe she should go check back on Victoria...
