A lab coat was shed for something small, black. Triangle top, spaghetti strap, fingertip rule-breaker.

She ascended a spiral staircase, daring to look through her feet at the kaleidoscope beneath her with a childlike curiosity. The edges of geometric glass shapes vibrated. A lagging techno beat stumbled over itself infinitely. _{OONZ OONZ OONZ.}
Lulu very rarely went out. Never, she’d tell anyone who asked. When she did, she did it alone.

Her heels clicked silently through an electric forest of sex and legs, matching time with the sub frequencies quaking in her bones. A Lunatone followed her, low and loose, slipping between bodies, until eventually they settled somewhere.

The colors of the music felt fuzzy in her veins. Pink energy swirled around her and her vision sparkled and freeze-framed. Her arms raised up above her head and she closed her eyes, body swaying, hips picking up momentum.

The energy grew. The room began to shift. When she opened her eyes, the lights were like a thousand diamonds and she was floating in the sky. ➤

The music thrums in her veins with an intensity that feels foreign to her, and yet she feels as though she's melting. Her attention spans slowly, lazily, following the curve of bodies. There is a rhythm with the way the scene moves, addictive and mesmerising.[break][break]

It catches her off guard, caught in a trance. Was this what it was like to not be uptight?[break][break]

Perhaps Gavin teaching her how to let her guard down was not one of the better things she'd learned. Regardless, she lingers on the edge of the scene, taking it all in with slow, measured breaths.[break][break]

What is more surprising, however, is the familiar face against the sea of constant-shifting expressions. Familiarity winks into the forefront of her thought and she pushes off the wall. She slips through swaying bodies, somehow managing to not touch anyone or anything in the process until she finds her.[break][break]

The woman who, in the moment, brought a rush of relief, a rush of home.[break][break]

The look on her face read that she was all alone in the room, and she was perfectly content. She watched the lights above, the sounds moving towards her in visible waves. Infant eyes watched her fingers as her wrists wove around one another towards the ceiling.

Lulu didn’t see Emma until she was in front of her. She didn’t stop moving, and an uncharacteristic smile literally washed over her face—she could feel the motion in the shift of her muscles ripple back into her scalp, tingly.

She felt euphoric. “Emma.” The syllables were breathed dreamily and they felt as abstract as she looked. She was beautiful. Lulu wasn’t sure what that meant at that moment.

After staring a moment, still swaying with the others around her who seemed similarly affected by a pink haze, her hands reached out from her, both palms up. Her red eyes didn’t waver from Emma’s, odd smile unrelenting as she waited to see if, maybe this time, the cold Rocket admin would finally take her hand. ➤

Dakota wasn't the type of person to frequent a night club. He was pretty awkward in a crowd of people, coming to such a place was not in his comfort zone. Tonight was different - work had exhausted him out and a change of pace was in desperate need. Dakota already was a little wasted, he couldn't help but open a few bottles back at his house before coming. Stumbling inside the establishment he glanced around looking for the bar - conveniently located next to the crowded dance floor. Dakota grumbled under his breath attempting to move past other patrons without bumping shoulders.

A futile effort. As everyone had been dancing away to the energetic tempo that filled the room. Grunting as another person who was drunk and stoned out of their mind, leaned onto Dakota for a brief moment. He swiftly pulled himself away from their grasp and continued to maneuver through the crowd of individuals. Dakota steadily became dazed as he approached Emma and Lulu, clenching his hand against his forehead he continued. Believing that alcohol was the cause of the strange sensation.

He eventually stumbled into Emma and Lulu, normally Dakota would ignore women - but tonight because he was feeling strange and under the influence of alcohol Dakota greeted them with a toothy grin. Clearly out of his mind, as he would never do such a thing. His head bobbed to the electric beats and his body began to awkwardly sway to the tempo. "This feeling sure is strange.. strange but soothing." Dakota spoke his voice getting drowned out by the music and laughter that filled the vicinity.

Having never used drugs other then nicotine, this sensation was new territory for Dakota it wasn't exactly the same as being drunk.

What should have made her bristle washes over her and there is.. nothing. Lulu's attention remains on her, never settling, never straying. There is a quiet exhale that feels so foreign, as if she isn't quite breathing at all- merely existing.[break][break]

Emma seems to fade away, a word immediately forgotten. She was neither Emma nor Anna nor anything in between. [break][break]

Two hands are laid out, reaching for her. Emma's attention, however, never moves from Lulu's face. There is something oddly familiar about her, about the curve of her cheekbones, the light in her eyes. She can feel an overwhelming amount of affection, a desire to be closer. It feels wrong, and yet there is nothing. She feels.. nothing.[break][break]

Nothing except the way her hands tingle as she places them in Lulu's, as she steps forward into the woman's arms, allowing her fingers to glide against soft skin. She smiles slowly, the act lazy and unfiltered. There is seduction in her eyes, untapped and raw. [break][break]

Another voice crops up in their peripheral, a body that seems to push past the bizarre hazy barrier the women are enclosed in. She witnesses his toothy grin, and her eyes flash him up and down briefly, though her hands never stray from Lulu.[break][break]

Dakota was oblivious that there had been a strange barrier that enveloped all three in a strange haze. He awkwardly watched as the two women locked arms, a small blush flushing onto his cheeks. The two looked to be rather close friends from his judgement, and he was the awkward oaf who interrupted their reunion. The man blinked a few times and then abruptly bowed his head apologetically. "S-Sorry for the intrusion!!" He blurted out, giving the two of them a closer look. He was a little flustered at Lulu's revealing outfit, and quickly whacked himself on the forehead - ashamed to have been looking for too long. He hoped that the two woman didn't think he was a pervert.

He was a little torn on whether to leave the two women or to get another drink. Dakota decided that he wanted to dance a little longer, and honestly didn't see the harm in keeping both of them some company. Normally he wouldn't do such a thing, but tonight he wasn't able to think very clearly and was rather impulsive.

"Mind.. if I stay?" Emma and Lulu didn't look like the friendliest type or very sociable, just like himself. He figured that they might be able to get along..

Literally. He can feel the sweat slick past his well gelled hair. Well, not gel, it's wax, the new 'in' that gives his hair that natural looking curl. Gotta look the part if you wanna feel that part, y'know?

"Aye, unz, unz, unz!"

He can feel the vibrations rattle throughout his body. It gives him the flow, the improvisational steps on how to bend to the beat. His freshly tailor button-up has the top few buttons pried open and Mike doesn't have a care in the world. A couple shots in with some pre-game means he's in the zone. He's here with friends but once the buzz sinks in, once the music demands his presence, he sheds them like tomorrow's burden.

Tonight is a night for regrets.

"What's POPPING, buddy," he slurs as his hand drapes around @dakota's shoulders. He's never met this man in his life but the alcohol makes him overly friendly. The contortion of his reserves make him louder than he should be, boisterous to the point that the PSYCHIC influence only spurs him to be even more forward than he usually is.

"What home boy means to say—" he leans in for emphasis, eyebrows waggling, all flair under the presence of Hoenn's finest babes, "—heeellllooo, ladies!"

The accentuation to the words are as drawn out as they are excited. They're inciteful under the promise of a good time.

Her smile grew as she felt hands in her own. Emma’s form breathed towards her, and Lulu’s fingertips brushed under her arms from wrist to elbow, light as a feather, almost as though literally feeling across her aura. She looked utterly captivated, and, as her body continued to move, a hand came up to gently brush a finger down Emma’s temple. Could she feel this woman’s thoughts too, she wondered?

When the man came up next to them, Lulu looked over, eyes like a lazy cat’s. The strange smile still hung about her face, and she didn’t seem bothered by him at all. In fact, her other hand went up to reach out towards his forehead as well. “I… mind?” It wasn’t what she’d meant, but she had taken the word and gotten lost in it somehow.

It was then that another boisterous man came up behind them, throwing his arms around the dark-haired man, and keeping them all together regardless. She quickly withdrew her hand, and the contrast of their hair caught her attention and didn’t let go for a longer-than-usual moment. She looked perplexed. A hand lingered on Emma’s shoulder, finding comfort in the touch.

In silence, Lulu reached out to touch her third person in five minutes. A finger went to place itself on the white-haired man’s lips, as though to silence him, although her body language did not turn him away either.

The Lunatone swooped around the four of them, dispersing another round of energy which swirled around them rather beautifully, before passing away through legs again. As artificial as it was, the joy felt real. ➤

The longer she lingers in Lulu's orbit, the more her fingers feel like they're melding against skin. Her breath does not feel like her own, and her focus manages to blot out everything but her. [break][break]

All warning signs that should have been on high alert, that should have broken their contact backfire. There is simply.. nothing.. as Lulu's fingertip brushes her temple. They seem to get lost in her hair for a moment, entangled. [break][break]

For a moment, the two of them are one.[break][break]

Of course, outside distractions invade their space, equally affected by the aura of dizziness. Two men, it seems, one of whom had already joined them but who she had been too distracted to properly greet.[break][break]

There is coldness where Lulu's hands wander and release, shifting from brushing her forehead to resting on her shoulder. She watches, aloof, as the woman reaches for the white-haired man. Even Emma is captivated by the boy's stark hair, a beacon or a star in the sea of shifting bodies and elongated shadows.[break][break]

"Hey."[break][break]

Her response is boring and flat, but she cannot honestly come up with anything better to say. Even under the influence, she struggles to comprehend human contact and communication. Lulu was the exception and that might only be as a result of prior familiarity.[break][break]

When another man suddenly swung himself onto Dakota's shoulders, he was certainly surprised by it. "hello" the greeting was a little to friendly because of the influence of alcohol. Mike seemed to be more comfortable in this type of setting, since Dakota doesn't frequent a visit to such places he was a little clueless on how one would socialize. Looking over to Lulu who responded to his question, Dakota felt very awkward upon hearing she minded that he was here. "S-Sorry I'll be going then! An awkward chuckle came from him, not even noticing that her hand was extended out towards him. Dakota looked for an escape only to pause upon hearing the other man's words.

Feeling at a loss of words, the only reaction that came from Dakota were stutters and a blush. He was even more so surprised noticing that Lulu had pressed one of her fingers against mike's lips. It made him slightly laugh as it was completely unexpected. The sudden swirls of energy made him feel strangely at ease and Dakota even enjoyed seeing them as they were beautiful. Gaze shifting to the other woman who muttered a hello, Dakota nodded back.
"I'M Dakota!"
