HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

Spending time at the park was a given when you were trying to raise as many pokemon as Adrian. Many of them needed walked, given space to roam, activities to occupy themselves with. Anything to avoid keeping them locked up in their pokeballs, or in pc storage.

Every trainer owed their pokemon better than that.

While his pokemon were left unchecked, Adrian decided to doze off against a tree with Rover at his side, its sickly sweet scent at risk of attracting unwanted attention from the local pokemon. Because why not?

A feral Ursaring had begun traipsing up to Adrian and Rover, following after that sweetest of scents, only to wind up disappointed in its origins.

Perhaps it had been hoping for honey, or some overly ripe fruit, but it was just a Vileplume.

It left without incident, and Adrian wouldn't have been so sure it was wild, so he paid it no mind.

A wild cinccino appeared from out of the tree he'd been resting beneath, coming to cautiously greet its curious visitors. It was immediately upon Adrian, ruffling his hair, patting his clothes as if in search of something. His granola bar.

With its prize in hand, it might've hoped to flee, but it had already become wrapped in Adrian's doting care. "Hey there," Adrian would coo gently at it. "You hungry enough to steal, hmmm?"

Any concern it might've had for its well-being was washed away as Adrian ran his fingers through its lush fur. But then he sat it down. "Alright, run along now," he said in parting to Cinccino.

But it seemed attached to him, reluctant to leave his side. Perhaps most people treated it like vermin around here, and his had been the first kind and charitable interaction. Either way, he'd won it over.

I'm going to have to buy more pokeballs...
