"He got one of the scientist, Cillian Quinn, to get really excited about his work before forcing him to give it over to me," would his brother understand the love a scientist has for their work? Who knows but Raziel understood it, "I barely understand the stuff and he puts me in charge! and Dr Merlino hasn't been seen since, a couple of the others say he's dead," he knowns he's going on and on but for the time talking is what keeps his attention. It isn't long before what he has predicted happen as the power is out in the building as signaled with the lights on the roof going out. He is quick to return the two Raichu before he is quick to the door and opens it up as he puts on his own mask as a just in case. Thankfully because the power is out there is no alarm as he signals for his brother to go first and lead the way. After all he's the one with the Luxray.

“Oh....” the response was dry, uncaring and unbothered. He isn’t surprised that Theo would do such a thing, truthfully he expected to hear something a lot worse. Asriel only seems interested when Raziel mentions Cillian Quinn is supposedly dead. “we’re in rocket, death is common. You shouldn’t get attached to people in this organization, everyone only cares about themselves.” the words were harsh, but it was how Asriel truly felt.

He dismisses the conversation with the wave of a hand, he didn’t want to be distracted on the mission any more then he had been. With the power taken care off, Asriel nods to the luxray, who leads the way - it’s eyes glowing in the dark. And it led the two of them to the targets location with ease, “stay here raizel” he speaks firmly, expecting him to listen.

Asriel and his Luxray continue, finding the target without much trouble. However theres a pit in his stomach, was this entire operation supposed to be so easy? Why was everything so quiet. His head snaps in the direction of a loud bang - it was where Razz had been.

Completely concerned about the wellbeing of his brother, Asriel completely forgets about the objective and races back to where Razz should have been.

Raziel's shoulders slump at his brother's harsh words. He understands that his brother has been going through a lot of training under their mother but still hurt that he seemed to be turning into something else. He supposes all he could really do is follow though because they were a team and in the end he was right: they were Rocket. Death was the expectation, not a surprise.[break][break]

"You too?" he'll give the question before the older twin gives the order to split up. Raziel gives a nod about staying, he supposes he'll watch the door, make sure no one came by. It takes a look at his watch as 5 minutes have gone by they would most likely be sending people up soon to check what's wrong. Foot steps could be heard and he's nervous, shit he couldn't call out his Nidorina now. It would be too loud, Razz makes an attempt to go toward the end of the hall. Because of the darkness he can't see what in front of him, such as a Voltorb he accidently kicks and..[break][break]

BOOM! [break][break]

Razz is sent flying back by the Voltorb's explosion, the young boys body while okay as the pokeball pokemon only use enough strength to hurt not maim. "Who goes there!?" A guard's voice rings out and Razz is in too much pain to answer. Shit shit shit he's going to make them fail.

He’s running fast as he can, but time feels slow. His mind begins to fill with disturbing thoughts, pictures of Razz being seriously injured and slowly dying. He shakes his head at the thought, hand curling into a tight fist - he won’t let that happen to Raizel. Before checking up on his brother, Asriel encounters with the guard first. He bites his lower lip, realizing that he needed to take care of the guard before checking up on Raizel. “scary face” he whispers the command to the luxray who had been following alongside Asriel obediently.

With a low growl, the Luxray leaps onto the guard, knocking him onto the ground. The luxray gave the guard a menacing glare, bearing sharp fangs. Asriel punches the man on his jaw, with enough force to have him knocked out for a few minutes, enough time for them to escape even if it’s empty handed. Asriel leaves, rushing to his brother without looking back.

Raziel can't help but groan in pain as he rolls to his side as he tried to pick himself up before the guard he heard could come. Though before getting up his focus would be calling out his Nidorina from her pokeball. She looks worried at her trainer's condition as she goes next to him to help him up. "I'll be fine," he grunts out in pain, "Just keep an eye out," he tells her as he's using the wall to lean on.[break][break]

He tenses up as he hears something from around the corner, "Get ready," he orders before hearing his brother's voice. A relieved smile on his face hearing him. "Over here," he calls over pain clear in his as Asriel would get to see himself once he caught up with him when the self-destruct did from the feinted Voltorb. "Did you get the target?" [break][break]

Because clearly that's the important thing.

The luxray leads the way to Raizel having remember his scent. His pace quickens when hearing Raizel's voice, and he rushes to his side when he spotted him. Asriel quickly looks over Raizel's injuries, relieved to discover they were somewhat minor. He hesitates when asked about the objective, "yes..." eyes avert as he lies.

The luxray emits a low growl when hearing voices coming closer, his facial features becoming even more stressed as he realizes that they are running out of time. "We need to go." He stands back up, quickly looking in the direction where he heard the voices before turning back to Raizel. "Can you run?"

Raziel can't help but narrow his eyes at the other. A feeling that something was off but more voices could be heard from afar interrupted. Damn it there wasn't time. "Yeah I got it," he says through a pain voice as he probably couldn't, but his panic and will to survive out weighed his pain. With that he would run out with his brother calling for the Magneton once more, "Grab onto one," he would tell him as he jumped to hold onto one of the three heads. Once Asriel would've grabbed on the electric pokemon would have quickly brought them down. Raziel had to bite back some pain as he tried to hold on desperately and not fall. [break][break]

It would be sometime, a minimum of half an hour, before they would meet back up with Theo on the original roof. Having used that time to ensure things cooled down. Raziel very much out of breath as moving was still a bit of a struggle but he understands that completing the mission was more important than his pain. He would force himself to stand at attention though once infront of Theo

Asriel does as told to hurry and escape, that was the priority. Even though he was afraid what would happen when raizel and theo find out that he failed.
