Jealousy and hate were as volatile as they were effective in the case of Matias Silph, to play with him was to play with a poison the slowly killed itself, not much unlike Miles at the end of the day, still Miles has an antidote.

"What of your other siblings, Yui? Stormy?"

He keeps his tone even, though his fist is clenched tighter now. This response would determine the fate of the two. Serena Malcolm needed to finish soon, all hell had a chance of breaking loose if she did not.

The disdain never leaves his eyes. He knows he's playing into a trap, but the only way to beat a Silph is to make them think they've won.

Shit. She's beelining for Silph it's what he would do.

"Wait." His focus remains on Silph though Serena would know his words were meant for her.

"Don't be rash." He breathes for the sake of his goals and for Serena as well he accepts.

"We can't proceed without some margin of trust. How do I know this isn't bullshit."

Serena's smart, she'd be able to take from that what she needed.

He takes the threat in stride, Matias would be disposed of sooner than later, but Miles needs him just as he needs Miles.

"In order to do away with the Fernando we need information. we meet outside of Oldale, two weeks Silph. I'll find you."

He needs Matias to leave, if Serena appears he'd lose his shot against Fernando they also risk exposing the mission.

his gaze moves past viper to the entrance he blocks. he hears footsteps approaching in the near distance, assumes it to be their partner. he shakes his head.

"we talk now."

at his command, electivire fires off a DISCHARGE, soaring overhead to the top of the entrance. it shatters stone and earth, causing it to come crumbling down, effectively blocking the entrance.

he's speaking even before the dust clears.

"is sootopolis your target?"
