While Sam wasn't the sort to let his emotions show all the time, he was painfully aware of emotions both within his own mind and person, and when another was feeling them. He'd made Stormy awkward and he'd caused some sort of tension to rise by asking questions about her avatar status.

That made him wonder if nobody asked questions that provoked her personal opinion, or if anybody asked her about it at all.

Why wouldn't they?

"I'm sorry to have made you uncomfortable, Miss Silph. I'll quit pestering you," he motions toward the exit of the arena. "Maybe I'll see you some other time? When it's not so crowded with anxious and excited trainers looking to pick a fight."

The invitation to speak to him whenever she liked was there, so he had thought he made clear, and with that he gave her a small bow.

"It really was a delight to put a face to the name, Miss Silph."
