The fire dies down and Stormy's Silvally attempts to brace for impact. However, given the circumstances he now finds himself in: buried beneath a bunch of rocks and sand, he reckons he should have jumped instead of crouched.[break][break]

For a moment, the battlefield is mostly quiet except for the grunting and groaning of a Pokemon attempting to unbury itself. Once out, Stormy throws another disc, a WATER-TYPE replacing the fire. [break][break]

The MULTI-ATTACK from within bursts like tiny streams of water from every nook and cranny before exploding outward, and the Silvally charges to close the distance.[break][break]

the one he got from necrozma was different from the one he got from any other source.

despite this, duplicates were around, so he's certain that the former was special. he's not sure if that was the explanation though, since he didn't see any other change in the silvally as it was with his when his equips it.

"it's just a guess, i think," he tells stormy. "mine's definitely isn't like yours."

he reequips his silvally with a different one, opting for an electric-type when it launches its multi-attack at the other pokemon.

kyle can't let stormy use the fire-type one, thinking that his pokemon might actually go down any time soon. unbeknownst to him, his had been regenerating bit by bit since the start.

it's not as obvious though, as fatigue still was evident from the pokemon.

Both Silvally seem to bend at the shoulders, heads bobbing in unison to indicate their fatigue. Stormy's, specifically, appears to be trembling just a bit. Maybe his is too, but she can't see that far- maybe she should make an appointment to check her eyesight.[break][break]

"Interesting."[break][break]

Water splashes up from the sand, only to be seized by arcs of electricity. They trace back with a vengeance, covering the woman's Pokemon in static and pain. It's almost beautiful if it wasn't so deadly.[break][break]

Unfortunately, Stormy's Silvally concedes first. Once the electricity stops making it convulse violently with every breath, it retreats back to Stormy with a dramatic limp. It pushes its head under her palm and she is careful not to cut herself on the sharp edges.[break][break]

"I think Khimaira's tryin' to tell me something..." the woman chuckles, shaking her head as her beast-killer sinks into the sand to exhale noisily.[break][break]

"I'll see you later then? Drinks at that festival, maybe!"[break][break]
