The reaction does catch Blitzle a bit off guard, too. So far, it had been rather annoyed specifically by that lack of expression, since it made it seem as if the other Pokemon was not at all taking this seriously. That blink though, it showed that it did. And it somehow disabled the pursuit, too.

Though Blitzle did not let that dissuade her. Instead, she simply turned and changed element again, this time using Flame Charge and rushing at the other coated in flame. That, too, was a little off-brand for an electric type probably, but it was a very versatile one after all.

Suddenly, there is an explosion. Eve was not really sure how that happened. She’d just seen a ball of dark energy on its way towards the charging Blitzle, but this was decidedly not the reaction she had expected.

But that thing was huge. For a little bit, she had all but thought that it would just swallow poor Blitzle alive. Fortunately, that did not happen. Unfortunately, when the dust settled and everything, Blitzle was on the ground, panting, but clearly unconscious as well. It was down for the count, sadly, so she returned it. “Well, I guess we are not ready to take on these sorts of Pokemon. But thank you anyway for the experience and I hope this helped with what you set out to do,” she thanked Stormy, but Eve was clearly a little bit disheartened by how this had ended.
