It’s only three word, and people say it all the time. Something so simple and true shouldn’t be so hard to say, but it is. It’s difficult for her too. She knows it’s there and she embraces it. Then why is it so hard?

Perhaps there’s still some fear. Once said, it can’t be taken back. It’s admitting your vulnerability and yielding a part of you to someone that can break in an instant. It’s a lesson Eva will learn soon, even without I love you being said.
