Sometimes, Summer appreciated the scenery that places like the Fiery Path had to offer. The landscape, vast lava and magma fields, all of it, was so fascinating to her. However, there was one thing she could barely stand.

The heat. She felt like she was going to melt if she continued down the path, but she needed to keep going.

Surtur seemed all too comfortable walking alongside her, given her was used to temperatures like these. Summer supposed that being within standing distance of him was also good enough "training" to endure some of the heat.

Out of no where, a Growlithe appeared. Well, Summer's luck continued! She definitely was pleased by the appearance of the fire Pokemon.

"No need to attack, Surtur," she commanded her Emboar, taking one of her empty Pokeballs and throwing it forward.

"It may be our lucky day again. Just imagine having another fire type to help you out," she told him, smiling gently at Surtur.
