of all the things that jayden had expected to come out from his bonding experience with his fellow rocket, a mysterious device had not been one of them. he still stares at the ominous app that had appeared onto his phone as soon as he'd been able to connect the information from the USB drive into it — the words the unknown report read out in clear letters.

[break][break] the thoughts circled in jayden's brain, incessant, until he found his footsteps taking him to mt pyre. it was here that he had heard psychic pokemon liked to reside and even though he was a far better ghost master than he ever would be with psychic types, he figured at the very least that this would be a good place to start.

[attr="class","rolling-thread"][attr="class,"faction"]Mt. Pyre was always an eerie place to go. She wasn't a fan of ghost pokemon, in fact most of them simply unnerved her. However, it seemed her beloved psychic-type pokemon hung around in the exact same areas. Was it something about the location that drew them in? Some, ambient aura? Or was it just simply a coincidence? Regardless- [break][break]

"Why does it have to be Mt. Pyre?" Ruby would speak out loud to nobody in particular, asides from the swarm of Unown circling around her, like a planet in orbit. Their own eyes facing outward, rotating around and acting as eyes in every direction. Hopefully, their presence would attract more. [break][break]

Eventually, Ruby walks around a corner of the mountain trail and ends up inside a large grassy field. Before she could even see it, all of her Unown circling her slowly stopped in one single direction, staring blank eyes at a person in the distance. As soon as Ruby realized it was just some stranger, Ruby quickly waved her hand and dismissed them back to searching. [break][break]

"Heh, apologies Sir. These guys have been a bit on edge looking for things lately."

as far as he knew, the unknown report did not have any special meaning to the current political landscape. then again, it could easily have been something that the higher-ups hid.
