Atop Mt. Pyre, Ruby simply rested on the ground as a couple of her Unowns floated around her in a circle, curious over their trainer's lack of actions for a good solid couple of minutes. Eventually, one of them nudged her and she finally spoke up.[break][break]

"I'm fine, honest." She'd slowly sit back up, sighing quietly. "My feet just hurt. We've been hunting for more of you guys all day. And unlike you guys, I can't float." Whether or not they found her funny, was impossible to tell. They simply blinked at her, then at each other, and then began to slowly float around once more.[break][break]

"Bluh, fine." Ruby would roll her eyes, standing back up to her feet after taking off her shoes and slipping on the sandals she had spare in her backpack. Hopefully, that would help a bit. "Let's get going you guys, walk down the mountain slowly and see if we find anything unique?"

In contrast, Luka's hunt was just beginning. Trepidation had slowed her steps towards Mt. Pyre- never all that fond of ghosts, she gingerly picked her way around the mountain, constantly vigilant for anything out of the ordinary. It was silly to be so nervous- the sun was still out, and it wasn't as if she was alone either. The Musharna floating at her side was a constantly calming presence, and the Fennekin trotting near her feet was sharp and alert.[break][break]

"Eugh...it feels chillier over here, don't you think?" she spoke into the open air, shivering for dramatic effect. Ugh...she wouldn't even be here if it weren't for the mysterious device she'd picked up after her cooking shift and the strange application found within. Didn't people get spirited away in places like this? So creepy! [break][break]

Hopefully her search would be a brief one. And as Luka turned a corner on the rocky path of Mt. Pyre, she thought she had struck gold. A gaggle of hovering letters floated into her field of vision, exactly the kind of Pokemon she was looking for![break][break]

"Okay! Flan, quickly! Let's catch them and get home-" She held a love ball at the ready, but thankfully noticed another girl right before she threw it. Luka froze, then slowly lowered her arm, concealing the ball behind her back. "Ah, I mean...s-sorry! Are these, um, yours?"[break][break] Ruby Walker
