Gavin owned but a single Unown; he lets it out of the ball once they're out in the wilds, in the hopes that its presence might attract some of its kin to their location.

In truth, he's still immensely uncomfortable in the presence of Chu-e Choi — but it's that discomfort that encourages him to force normality in a difficult situation. The Necrozma Problem wasn't getting any better, so...

"Dude, you're going to fucking choke."

Said while wearing a pained expression as he watches Chu-e deep throat the burrito like his life depended on it. Hell, maybe it did.

When Cillian Quinn mentions the burrito issue, Chu-e intentionally makes a show of eating a lot worse and messier before he pulls it away from his mouth. A long chew, like when you're rushing to speak and it seems like it takes forever, before a hard swallow. Chu-e pants from the effort when he's done.

"Dude, I've slurped down dicks thicker and longer than this thing. Don't you worry." He finished this off with another bite of the burrito, this one dainty and delicate like he was a lady.

The Unown thing was weird and Chu-e wasn't sure he liked the look of it. It was just a big eye and he was sure it was squinting at him.

A rustling in the bushes has Chu-e call out one of his pokemon, a slobbering and snarling Gardevoir- or, since Gavin knew the trick, his Zoroark Beepin. She leaped forward, a Night Slash ready, and a poor Baltoy fell at their feet. Chu-e sighed and tossed a pokeball at the poor thing.

"So, what do you think this weird business is about, anyway?"

CATCHING BALTOY

Gavin's expression pinches as Chu-e Choi makes it so much worse.

"You keep talking about the dicks you've slurped and I'm going to tell you more about what it was like to kiss you, man."

The threat is delivered with a smile that's genuine, if edged by the shadow of discomfort they've yet to shed between them. He's not sure if things will have time to go back to normal before they get worse.

He can only hope.

Ignoring a Dottler that hovers silently past them, Gavin replies, "Not a clue. My sister was wondering the same, nearly had a stroke when I showed her I had the device on me. Been keeping an eye on it, just in case."

Gavin eyes his Unown, shakes his head.

"Creepy that they don't blink."
