Truth is that even if Mars had wanted to give Angelo an specific answer and tell him the exact address of his relatives in Alto Mare, he would have never been able to do as much. There’s still some out there, that much he’s certain of, since it’s only logical that there are, but too little is known about his father and that side of his family, and the mere fact that he was from Alto Mare had been a hint that led nowhere once Mars was actually able to visit the island.

Down in the hidden nooks and cranny’s of Meteor Falls exterior, two grins glint with all the sharpness of a knife. Hinting at a hunger that would readily see the edge of the blade sink into the promise of peril, for the chance of hooking inviting rewards.[break][break]

“Can’t imagine who’d be that stupid.” Himself, for starters. But he’s quite comfortable with that kind of life, he sought after it, even. [break][break]

Angelo shoots a slow glance over his shoulder, observing the mirror image that grins and looks right back at him with the tell-tale sign of a shared rebellion. Interesting trait to have, for a banker… He can’t say that it’s an unpleasant surprise.[break][break]

Crouching down by the crystal-clear stream, Angelo rolls up his sleeves to fill up a bottle. There's no tan lines there, his stretch of arm kissed extensively by the sun. Frigid water biting his calloused fingertips. He’s watched by a pair of big dark eyes, the young mud fish pokemon transfixed by this strange person squeezing up the the river. [break][break]

Standing up, Angelo watches out of the corner of his eye as the Mudkip hauls itself out of the water after him. It remains hovering near his ankles even when Orion plods up to sniff at it. [break][break]

“Speaking of danger, Daredevil. We should start making moves…” With a beckoning glance into the sky, Angelo nods towards the slither of clouds beginning to drift in over the mountain peaks. Plump and tugged along by a plummeting breeze. “They look innocent enough for now, but rain’s on the way. I don’t think your alphabet friends are going to be coming out into the open for it.”[break][break]

He wipes his wet hand off on his pants leg, tucking the water bottle away as strides are taken down the path. Angelo doesn’t bother to wait for Mars’s response and neither does the Mudkip wait for acknowledgment, tailing after the pilot of its own accord. [break][break]

“And I’d hate to see your sparkly new shoes get ruined.” He says, getting in one more mocking jab.
