As the door opened, Oscar's eyes widened slightly. The office Remiel chose to meet in was something else, a beautiful symbol of his rank and experience. Oscar whistled as he walked inside, taking in the extravagance as Remiel extended a hand in greeting. Oscar nods, grabbing the hand firmly for a polite shake. "No inconvenience at all. Love the office, remind me to apply for Admin next time there's a slot open. I could use a place like this." 

Oscar's GMH office was nothing to write off, but he couldn't exactly talk 'business' at his place of work. He had an office on the sub, but it might as well have been a glorified cubicle with how basic it was. He felt a twinge of shame every time he had a meeting there, an upgrade was severely needed. With pleasantries out of the way, Oscar stepped forward. He reached into his coat and pulled out a red pokeball, the reason for their meeting today.

"Charged it this morning so it should be good for at least two hours. Where did you want to let it loose?"

Remiel Calcifet

Oscar looked away as Remiel brought up Emma. That was a sore subject for Oscar currently, he had no idea where his mentor had gone but the possibilities made him sick to his stomach. Oscar shook his head and shrugged, "The position's been filled. There's a lotta politics involved with those admin positions, I could never bother to make an effort in time. I'll keep your words in mind for next time though." 

Oscar forced himself to brighten up, taking a seat when prompted. Before they began the field test, it would seem Remiel had some inquiries. Oscar was surprised when Remiel brought up Xurkitree, though the proud trainer was more than happy to discuss it. "There was a learning curve, but it has settled in comfortably by now. Rigorous training has made it a loyal member of my team." Oscar owed a lot to his Xurkitree, so he tended to hold it up on a pedestal. 

Oscar raised an eyebrow and lounged back in his chair, "You'll be pleased to know that, despite their alien nature, Ultra Beasts are like any other pokemon. They learn, they love--they submit."

Remiel Calcifet

Oscar seemed surprise at Remiel's question. There was nothing wrong with it, it just took him by surprise. He nodded, "Yes um, I named it Navitas. It means energy in a dead language I read about in college. I thought it was a fitting name, considering its skillset." Oscar had not put much thought into the implications of nicknaming an Ultra Beast; he gave nicknames to all of his pokemon so it seemed only natural to do the same with Navitas. 

Oscar bit his lip as he thought over his realization, "I wonder if the people of Ultra Space ever nicknamed the Ultra Beasts they caught. Do you think giving them names contributed to their taming? My Ultra Beasts portray personalities that the Ultra Beasts I fought during the war did not. I wonder if personalities are part of their natures or if they gained them by living here. There's a lot we don't know about Ultra Space when you think about it."

Oscar stared into space momentarily before shaking his head. There would be time for waxing philosophical later. He looked to Remiel with a sheepish expression, hoping he had not embarrassed himself in front of his superior. "Apologies, got lost in my own little world there. Were the ultra beasts what you wished to talk about?"

Oscar peered down at the book, absorbing what he saw in silence. He continued to study it even as Remiel spoke, only lifting his eyes once the admin mentioned his new initiative. "Spectra." Oscar repeated, rubbing his neck softly as he leaned back in his chair.

These legendary 'avatars' were indeed becoming a problem. Humans chosen to wield the power of legendary pokemon that rule over all others. To his knowledge Rocket currently only had a hand full compared to the League, and if something was not done about that they would be steamrolled in no time. Color Oscar intrigued. 

Oscar said nothing else, instead he waited patiently for Remiel to reveal more about his initiative.

Remiel Calcifet                               

Oscar did a double take as Remiel motioned to none other than jayden cross. Caught off guard, Oscar let out an audible gasp as he nearly fell out of his chair. "What the fuck!? Has he been here the whole time?" Oscar quickly grasped the table, regaining his balance as he collected himself. During this entire meeting he had not noticed Jayden, how comically oblivious of him. 

Oscar would be forced to move on quickly, as Jayden would soon drive the conversation back to SPECTRA. Oscar tilted his head, suddenly reminded of his own burning curiosity. He turned back toward Remiel and rubbed his chin. "From the context given so far, it would appear this initiative would try to counter avatars under the League's employ. I too am curious how to plan to accomplish this."

Oscar leaned forward, eagerly awaiting the details of this endeavor.

Oscar raised his eyebrows and clicked his tongue once he learned what SPECTRA stood for. A task force to combat avatars? Color Oscar intrigued. He has had it up to HERE with these League avatars causing mischief and whatnot. Imagine 'Here' being really high up, like to the ceiling. He was FED UP!

He jumped to his feet as Remiel motioned to change scenery. Oscar was excited to get this show on the road, Remiel had done a fine job getting him pumped for whatever was next. As their little team left Remiel's office, Oscar would elbow Jayden softly.

"For the record, it's good to see you again. We're gonna nail this shit--whatever it is."
