This is Akaste (feel free to change her name if you find something you both like more).
She wasn’t getting along too well with my Primarinas, so I thought maybe a new home
would suit her better and she seems like the type of pokémon you would like. She loves

Luka loves getting mail.

And a surprise package is even better! The adorable Brionne is released quickly, for Luka wants to make sure she acclimates well to the team before accepting such a gift. After a slight bit of awkwardness, the water type and Luka's Eevee hit it off brilliantly, and the rest of the little group also seem to accept her.

Using the return address on the card, Luka quickly writes a thank-you note for her friend, sealing it with plenty of hearts and a little kiss.
