An inexplicable espurr found itself on the table but the espurr wasn't a species he had a need for, in reality the hunt was going poorly to start.

Still, if he stayed the course things were bound to balance out.

-and as for espurr, its wide eyes seemed plagued with the greater machinations of its own reality while being bogged down in the sludge of a mighty muk.

UNAWARE as ever, the wild woobat flies straight into one of the wobbuffets. it blinks, peering up with its eyes (?) to regard the psychic-type.

"hello there."

maybe it's the woobat's FUTURE SIGHT that brought it to matias. this time, he decides to spare it.

he does capture it, however, with a quick boop of his pokeball.

Letting it all hang out as if he'd just finished the largest feast of his life, Muk seemed to expand after smothering the Espurr.

In doing so he rolled right over a little litwick in the right place at the wrong time.

With a BELCH on its own belly it covered the little candle in grime and bile, extinguishing its flame and knocking it out with sheer repulse.

Even Sénon's muzzle tightened a little as the smell came near.

-best to get the little fire-type out of there quick.

it sure sucks not to have any physical moves in their arsenal but when up against a special attacker like mismagius, wobbuffet's moveset comes in clutch.

because the PSYWAVE and the MAGICAL LEAF are easily taken and countered with double the power — MIRROR COAT reflecting the attacks right back on the mismagius, taking it down and out of the count.

a pokeball is thrown after.

A fully evolved Delphox in the wild was a first for him.

Its witchy vibe even gave him the slightest bit of pause. Having Muk attack reminded him of wandering around in Skyrim and wandering into a warlock or mage far above your own level.

Luckily, SLUDGE, BELCH and GUNK SHOT proved that poison did wonders against fire-casters in both Skyrim and obviously Pokémon.

An encore performance of the poison trinity of SLUDGE, BELCH and GUNK SHOT took down the ghost/grass type to wander about.

A fire attack from the captured Delphox would have been faster, but it was knocked out and apparently, according to his DEXapp reading from the pokéball, it didn't know any fire type moves anyway.

someone out there's gotta appreciate this bruxish, surely, but definitely not matias. he stares at it, focusing on its protuberance as it pulses with a SCREECH. nasty little thing.

though the CONFUSION hurts, MIRROR COAT returns twice that, causing the water-type to flop onto land, SPLASHING with no luck.

a pokeball saves it from death, probably.

because nothing exciting shows up besides the oranguru. he already has two, but he feels compelled to capture it for whatever reason. maybe there's an agreement in place that he doesn't know about.

either way, the CONFUSION is doubled with MIRROR COAT, and a pokeball soon follows.

It wasn't a 'good idea' to send a poison type after a steel.

A WILL-O-WISP could have come in handy but he'd left that TM in his other pants.

With the moves they had though, he could still eek out a win.

SCREECH and SHADOW SNEAK were the only moves left Muk knew that a Doublade (potentially hacking him to pieces) was immune to.

One lowered the Doublade's Defense and the other hit with physical damage Doublade was weak to; ghost-type.

A!Muk was a on a roll.
