despite having only seen maybe three series at best, itaewon class is definitely his favorite so far. he smiles at the thought, appreciating the conversation even more.

the magnemite decides otherwise the moment it sees a berry in matias' hand. it floats back over, bumping into the fruit with its body. matias nods, offering the berry to it.

"it was really good. i need a new series now, though. any recommendations?"

from behind them, matias' garbodor spits out a GUNK SHOT over at an approaching mawile. except, poison doesn't work against steel, so all it can do is stand there as mawile SPITS UP something in return. nasty stuff, really, but thankfully, matias stops it by throwing a pokeball at the mawile.

"it is, yeah. a group of friends, each with their own specialty, that also get together at the end of each episode to do a singing/band thing. it's really good." he didn't want to comment on the fact that most didn't like watching stuff about their jobs, with the inaccuracies or anything. it was nice to see him think of her; touching, really.

"i think we should still be hanging out more outside of work."

the concept is still foreign to him. in kanto, they went from fight to fight, and whatever downtime they had was spent resting and recovering. now? things are more free. more laxed. and he often finds himself at a lost when the weekend rolls around.

it's why he often chooses to spend it out here.
