artemis was used to the snow. maybe not in the months he had been in hoenn, because of the tropical weather, but it wasn't something new to him. if anything, honestly, it just made him miss snowpoint. sure, he hadn't been exactly happy then, but at least he wouldn't have had to deal with all the negative mint frost-related emotions.

which sounded mean, sure, but it was true. sometimes artemis wondered if it would have been easier for him to just block mint and move on- and, after everything, he was wondering that more often.

but those thoughts aside, he had a job to do. sort of. he was trying to find something to write about, and so far he was coming up short- not to mention he was tired and just needed a break overall. so, once he had come across some benches around the frozen lake in mauville, artemis didn't hesitate to sit down on the furthest one. if people would give him room, then he would do the same; or, better yet, he was already doing the same, because he was busy and the last thing he needed was to get distracted by a conversation.
