[attr="class","tctext"] Elisabeth listened to Cygne's description of her homelife with keen interest. "We had the money for cable," she said, pursing her lips, "but my father was rather against too much technology in the home. Screens and whatnot. I think I always felt a few years behind my peers in Kalos in that regard. The only television was in my parents' room, and they shared it with me for movies as a child, that's all. I suppose I never developed much of an interest in watching it after." Now that she'd said it all aloud, it all sounded rather pretentious and frumpy to admit to, didn't it? Elisabeth chuckled to herself, mildly embarrassed. "You must think me quite the old lady now, hm?"[break][break] Though Cyg joked her Grookey wasn't as attentive as Elisabeth's motley crew of floral staff, Feldspar seemed to be doing quite well in assisting in the kitchen--at least from what the blonde could see. All the items he had found for the hot cocoa mugs were a delight. "He's plenty useful, aren't you, Feldspar?" Elisabeth said, smiling so that a single dimple marked her right cheek. "Well done. The whipped cream is looking wonderful, by the way, Cyg. You have a way with a mixer."[break][break] Cyg's recommendation for the theming of the cakes was a popular one with all three of Elisabeth's Pokemon, who all eagerly circled around Cyg with vigorous nods of agreement. It was endearing how quickly they had warmed to this new person, all by the virtue of a single, well-timed compliment. Elisabeth couldn't help but laugh. "That's a fine idea. Very well! I'll leave the schnapps to you and begin frosting the cakes. Primrose and Daffodil, could you provide some petals for me?" Before the two Grass types could get too excited, Elisabeth raised a finger sternly. "Try to keep the PETAL BLIZZARD rather controlled, if you would--wouldn't want to injure anyone in the kitchen, now would we?" Both nodded somewhat abashedly, recalling an unspoken of incident where that very thing happened. [break][break] They had all worked so diligently and so efficiently that when the oven timer dinged to indicate the finished meringues, Elisabeth jumped a little, startled. "Goodness! That gave me a fright. Amaranth, could you take out the meringues?" They looked marvelous laid out on the counter, appetizing and delicate as they cooled.[break][break] Each cake had been frosted in chocolate and adorned with the petals gifted by the Roselia and Bellossom, resulting in fanciful floral arrangements that quietly evoked the Pokemon's namesakes. Elisabeth couldn't help herself from including little fondant pearls to adorn their sides, selecting gold, pink, and blue pearls respectively for each cake. "Aren't you pretty," she whispered to the cakes approvingly, then called over her shoulder to Cyg. "I'm going to begin on cutting up the fruit salad--how are the peppermint schnapps coming?"[break][break] It was all coming together splendidly, and the delivery time for the VIPs was well within reach. Elisabeth couldn't be happier with their progress.[break][break] [newclass=.tcbg] padding:20px;background-color:#fff;border:1px solid #eee; [/newclass] [newclass=.tclyr] font:24px times new roman;background:-webkit-linear-gradient(360deg, #C4C3C4, #C4C3C4, #C4C3C4, #C4C3C4, #C4C3C4);-webkit-background-clip: text;-webkit-text-fill-color: transparent;text-align:left;font-style:italic;-webkit-transition: ease 1s;position:absolute; [/newclass] [newclass=.tclyrb] background:-webkit-linear-gradient(360deg, #24344b, #7597c5, #f7c3da, #ffbd8b, #ffe9ad);-webkit-background-clip: text;-webkit-text-fill-color: transparent; transparent; font:24px times new roman;text-align:left;font-style:italic;opacity: 0; -webkit-transition: ease 1s;position:absolute; [/newclass] [newclass=.tcsub] font:14px unna;color:#c0c0c0;text-align:right;padding:5px;background-color:#fff;margin-top:-15px;margin-right:-3px;float:right;[/newclass] [newclass=.tcword] width:220px;background-color:transparent;position:absolute;-webkit-transition: ease 1s;font:14px unna;color:#c0c0c0;text-align:center;font-weight:bold;text-transform:lowercase;margin-top:20px; [/newclass] [newclass=.tctag] width:220px;background-color:transparent;opacity: 0; -webkit-transition: ease 1s;position:absolute;font:12px unna;color:#c0c0c0;text-align:center;margin-top:20px; [/newclass] [newclass=.tctag a] font:14px unna;text-transform:lowercase;[/newclass] [newclass=.tctext] width:100%;background-color:#fff;text-align:justify;line-height:11px;font:10px verdana;color:#999;margin-top:10px; [/newclass] [newclass=.tctext b] font:10px verdana;color:#74c365;font-weight:bold;[/newclass] [newclass=.tcpic] -webkit-filter: grayscale(100%);transition: 1s ease-in-out;-webkit-filter: grayscale(100%); [/newclass] [newclass=.tcbg:hover .tcpic] -webkit-filter: grayscale(0%);transition: 1s ease-in-out;moz-filter: grayscale(0%);moz-transition: 1s ease-in-out; [/newclass] [newclass=.tcbg:hover .tclyr] opacity:0 [/newclass] [newclass=.tcbg:hover .tcword] opacity:0 [/newclass] [newclass=.tcbg:hover .tclyrb] opacity:1 [/newclass] [newclass=.tcbg:hover .tctag] opacity:1 [/newclass] [Googlefont=Unna]
