as much as matias wants to give chase to the fleeing basculegion, he knows his priorities lie elsewhere. it won't be the last time he'll see a creature of that variant.

with danger disappearing, at least for now, matias turns to eva, reaching a hand out to her before raising his other to gesture vague signals.

As much as Eva would like to give chase as well, they likely didn’t come prepared enough for such a feat. In her mind, she marks this as a spot to come back to.

She’s broken from her concentration by Matias’s touch. She takes his hand, signaling back that she’s ok through a vague gesture with the other. With the Luvdisc safely tucked away from danger, she also signals for them to return to the surface, their job here complete.
